Great hotel with great breakfast

Great hotel with great spa area. Sensational breakfast and great evening menu at the bar. Great value for money. Very good service and great rooms.

Breakfast good otherwise we were very disappointed.

The reception was very unfriendly, I was "rubbed in the nose" several times that I had booked through a "vendor" and not on their hotel website, was sent away because we were too early (11.00 am), no problem, have come back at the time mentioned, room was of course still not ready, on request, why I should then come back at 11.30 am, "lady", told me she can not know that the people whose room we would come to leave until 12.00 am! On request, if we could then at least go to the wellness area, it was said, it is not there, because I had booked through a provider and costs extra!!!! If I had booked directly through the hotel, things would be different, but like this! No, the spa is there, otherwise I would not have booked the hotel, but since I was there before the official check-in, I should pay extra per man 15 euros! Then why does the hotel offer such offers to other providers??? Have then left again and come in the evening, when the room was ready. The carpet in the room absolutely belongs professionally cleaned, which is totally unhygienic, the balcony still has the old nasty from the 60s, the bathroom was newly renovated, but without underfloor heating, the heating in the bathroom had its own life, did not stay constantly warm. The spa area was ok, but only 3 small saunas for such a large hotel!!!! In addition, there are no "bathing slippers" in the wellness bag, please bring some yourself!!!! The breakfast was very good and the other two ladies at the reception were also very nice, but the one, we almost didn't start the 2 days because of her! For this "lady" training would be bitterly necessary!

Think more regionally

A wellness weekend....room nice big and nice. There is a small fridge. However, the room was just above the supplier's entrance and incredibly noisy with bottles of banging until 3.00am, from 5.00am delivery with loud shouts...food all right, the cook should have more courage to season. The Quality of food early and in the evening is simple, industrial. Pools are good, visitors inside territorially on the loungers. Overall, well-being and Bavarian Forest atmosphere are lacking. Why no connection to the region?! Music in the dining room beautifully chosen

Dream holiday!

The 5 days in August 2025 were the most relaxing vacation days in a long time. The food, rooms and staff were excellent as always. As always, Mr Lackl should be singled out at the reception. We will definitely come back.
