We love returning to this hotel

This hotel is great - we have just stayed for the 3rd time. It has amazing views over the lake and a lovely terrace to sit on. Breakfast is excellent. Our room was enormous, really clean and with a huge bathroom. Parking is easy. Staff are helpful and it is all well organised. It is excellent value for money.

Happy weekend in Bad Salzungen

Great hotel with excellent professional and helpful staff. Especially the evening manager, Mr. Kostert, was always willing to help and to provide good information. My room was cozy and the bed was also good. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had good water pressure. Another great feature is the on sight parking lot. The location of the hotel is also great with 2 min walking to the historic downtown or 1 min to the lake. Fully recommended!

another excellent stay

This is a lovely hotel. We have stayed twice now. Both times we had room 5, which is enormous, with great views over the lake. There is a little patio outside with tables and chairs. Breakfast is good, with plenty of variety. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance to eat in the evenings.

Traveller friendly hotel

Location of the hotel is beautiful by a small lake. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast is especially good and healthy. All diets are taken care of. The personnel is efficient and very helpful.

Perfect Timing

We couldn't have planned our timing any better. We happen to arrive on the same day that the town was holding their local festival. There was food, drinks, and live entertainment literally right outside our room. We were even treated to a night time fireworks show. The hotel overall is very beautiful with an exterior that absolutely complements the lake. We only stayed one night there but had a pleasant stay. There is a really nice walking path that goes around the entire lake which we walked along earlier in the evening and ended up eating dinner at the Kartoffelhaus (Potato House) a restaurant in-town and had a great German meal.
