Just great.

Were over New Year's Eve 4 days in this hotel. Super hotel food a poem. Great cook very friendly staff. Wellness area very nice.

The place looks good on the site, in a quiet location, but when I was there, disappointing.
If you expect soft towels, large bath towels, shower gel or soap in your room, this is not the right hotel for you.
In the wellness area only a sauna was connected. The steam room, hot tub and high pressure shower were either switched off or broken. There were no water dispensers or ice cream. The swimming pool had an algae layer, here a cleaning was overdue.
The restaurant had a choice of three menus for dinner. All were well prepared, but with lots of rice and noodles and little vegetables. The bread at breakfast did not taste like fresh from the baker, and in one day the croissants were burned.

Low budget hotel

As a supposed 4 star hotel, you can forget all this. We had been looking forward to a nice getaway 4 days. We had a 2 double rooms with half board. Starting with the food. There was only a small portion for dinner. And only 2 dishes to choose from.
For breakfast it true OK. But nothing was delivered. When gone then gone.
Our ROOMS HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED FOR THREE DAYS. No towels and also no toilet paper etc. After asked at the reception where the manager is I was told it does not exist here anymore. And since we had booked with the organizer Reisen Aktuell we had booked a lowace package. Well, you never learn. Finally, we learned that the hotel no longer has a star. All 4 stars were taken away. But it continues to be diligently advertised there that it has 4 stars.
This is a gross deception for the guests.

Even the approach via unkempt weed driveway is creepy. Building partially abandoned and hotel looks worn out, done. The restaurant/café was closed, but with notes where to call - at thirst. Due to the negative overall impression, we turned around. Our spontaneous golf trip for 3 days we therefore spent elsewhere!

Beware. Will accept only debit card or cash for payment. No prior notification that a credt card is unacceptable

Implied required medical examination ( €300 ) is not necessary. Prescriptions (€100) to local pharmacy, again not necessary. Owner condescendingly suggested that these charges would not re-occur on a return visit.
The surroundings are very pleasant, as is the facility itself. The restaurant is quite good, staff is caring and professional.
The owner is supercilious.
