VERY sympathetic!

After noticing two minor flaws in my room, I was immediately offered to change rooms, but I declined because I felt very comfortable in this room anyway. Rach slopes, a beautiful covered balcony, a very good mattress, the choice between two different pillows (one of them memory foam), an incredibly comfortable armchair and tasteful, soothing colors and materials made the room so cozy. Also the food was very good. The breakfast and dinner byffat is small but fine. The appetizer ice cream or the ages soup alone would have been enough for me. Delicious! But the best thing about Hotel Kemper is the people: very, very friendly and competent and you really feel like they like doing their job. That says a lot about how the hotel is run. I look forward to my next stay in January!

Hotel is okay but nothing more.

The hotel was generally very nice. The room was very clean and renovated. Except for the bathroom. Partially mold in the shower and old. Unfortunately, it has not been renovated yet. It feels like an old spa clinic. However, my room was located on the ground floor by the terrace of the bar. Very loud and unpleasant. It is very inconvenient to place a bar's outdoor area next to the rooms. As for me, I will not stay there again. I want to have peace for sleeping. What a pity.
However, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was okay. Nothing special for the relatively high overnight costs.

Accommodation without functioning heating

Personally, I advise everyone to book from this accommodation - the heating house II does not work, neither in the room nor in the associated bathroom.
Swimwear and towels for prescribed water aerobics thus do not dry. So it's pre-programmed to catch a cold.
Unfortunately, the owner is very uncooperative and completely indifferent to the well-being of his guests, “Heating can just fail, he can’t change.”. Far away from service, “the customer is king”, understanding, accommodating and professionalism.
The heating does not work for other guests either. So a big drawback of the house. Whether in the hallway, in the bar etc. everywhere the heaters are at “0” - it is saved to death, just unpleasantly cold everywhere.
Initial inquiries were followed by standard responses from the reception, such as “fitter was commissioned, result unknown etc.”.
Another lady said that her acquaintance also recently lived in the
Hotel was and the heating also did not work, is therefore a long-term problem, which is not fixed and is turned off where it works.
Nevertheless, these rooms are rented and fully collected.
We have not received an apology and also no compensation or any accommodation for three complete days of cold. A voucher etc. would have been the least. Very disappointing and annoying experience.

Central and clean hotel with absolutely friendly staff

During the spa stay in the village I rented one at the thermal hotel. A first night with my wife I found extremely expensive at 161 €. However, the complete further week for me alone in the double room were acceptable. This was the first hotel in my long life where I had to pay the full hotel bill in advance. (I didn't think it was OK). The room was clean. Breakfast and dinner buffet were absolutely sufficient. A special compliment to the entire staff with your kindness

Highly recommended for short stays.

Friendly staff, fantastic breakfast for a 3* hotel, single room (1 bed) was OK in size, bathroom and small amenities were very good. Absolutely good value for money. I stayed in a 4* hotel in Bad Westernkotten 2 weeks later and would definitely choose Kemper.
