Fantastic hotel

Beautiful, welcoming, organized, and super comfortable hotel. The staff are very kind and attentive to guests. The breakfast is wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel ❤️

For stop-over

Decent “Landhaus”, a combination of a local, traditional German restaurant and two handfuls of guest rooms. We seemed to be the only people there. Got a glimpse of the owner at check-in, but did’nt see anyone else apart from a young man serving breakfast.
We were generously assigned a large, nice and clean room with terrace, garden view and a modern bathroom. Sleep comfort so-so, due to very hard matresses. Breakfast basic, but OK. Basthorst is a tiny, quiet, traditional Northern German village, conveniently located for a short stop-over on the way south.
NB: Not to be confused with “Hamester's Hotel-Restaurant” in Süderbrarup. It is wrongly described in the subtext on TA as set in Basthorst.
