Perfect location looking over to the old town. Large supermarket close by. About for blocks from the train station. Staff helpful and friendly.

Don’t book direct
On 6.3.2026 I found this hotel on booking.com for my wife. To be nice to the hotel I decided to book directly through the hotel by phone. When she arrived a few hours later to check in, they quoted her a price higher than booking.com. However, the receptionist claimed it was not possible to adjust the price. Management needs to empower their receptionists to not make guests furious over such a simple matter. They could have at least not charged for parking or some other gesture of good will. Obviously, stay somewhere where they are more flexible than Best Western or just use booking.com.

Short stay and comfortable.
Pure surprise. A short stay of just one night, yet welcome and comfortable. The hotel is located in the middle of the city and also has a parking lot with a moderate 10Euro. The whole staff we had to deal with was very friendly and always helpful. Thanks still for the tip with the butcher next door, where we got very delicious food for the home fridge.
Room clean, promised bathtub was available and the beds are very good. Sleep and get up without pain! The breakfast was extensive and stocked with very many local products. Extra coffee requests are promptly fulfilled. Plus a great view of the towers of the city. Thanks for that. A small downer is the lack of the otherwise free bottle of water. Refrigerated drinks are in the minibar. Prices are of course sporty but still cheaper than in other hotels.
Conclusion:
It was nice, great place in a surprisingly, since unknown, beautiful city. We will definitely come back. There is probably still a lot to discover here,

Very good city hotel in a prime location
This hotel is located directly at the Reichenturm and Kornmarkt. One is immediately in the historic center of Bautzen. The hotel offers a large parking space which is opened or closed with the room card. Rooms are solidly large and decorated. The layout and bathrooms are new. Unfortunately, the rooms have no air conditioning, which was problematic during our stay at 34°C. We tried to sleep with the windows open. The breakfast was very good. Great selection of cold cuts and jams. Also various egg dishes and coffees. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The accommodation price incl. Parking fee and breakfast is consistent. Value for money is great. You'd love to come back.
