Sad

That ranges from a musty smell to the rooms. The furniture was very dated and mismatched. The lamp in the restroom had no lampshade. The negative highlight was the "bathroom," which was not a bathroom at all: There was a tiny toilet without a sink, but with stains on the wall. (Mold?). Next to the bed in the bedroom, a shower was installed - without a partition from the bed. For all of this, I find the price overpriced. For that, one could have almost booked a hotel room. At least: it was clean.

Very cozy and authentic guesthouse

We stayed here for one night on our road trip of the Alpenstrasse.
The owners are super nice and friendly, and the room (although simple) was SUPER clean. It's not fancy and pretty ordinary, but it was just what we needed and the price was great.
Breakfast had quite a few options, even a bit more than we're used to from properties of that kind.

A poor choice by us. No sense of comfort after a long drive along the Alpenstrasse. Old mis-matched and shabby furniture. I’ve stayed in worst places but don’t remember when. Poor choice of food (breakfast) in cramped dining conditions. Think they were doing their best, but just not a good standard of accommodation

Small family run guest house.

Bayrischzell is a small village in a ski area in Bavaria. The guest house is an older style and the rooms are smaller than average and the bathroom is very small. However its quite clean and a good breakfast is served. There is wifi and there is parking on site. There are some nice restaurants in the village.
