CRITICAL PROBLEM:
I've been trying to get an official accommodation bill for a month without success! Called, sent letters – either ignored or empty promises returned. Staff deliberately withhold their names.
Breakfast: Beautiful, but the quality is terrible – cheap products, not delicious.
Conclusion: Don’t waste time – Berlin has much better options!

Modern vacation / business hotel 7 minutes walk from Berlin Hauptbahnhof
Simple, characterless, nothing interesting in immediate neighbourhood.
This hotel is now on my list of 'OK to stay in hotels' for central Berlin. What's unusual ?
1. It's a little farther from a transport link than some of the competition (with nothing interesting along the way) - but Hbf is where almost all train journeys into Berlin stop so maybe that makes up for it.
2. There's an 'honesty bar' on the top floor - you take what you want and pay later at reception. It's nice to be 'trusted' by a hotel (unusual, not unique). So no mini-bar/fridge in the rooms.
3. There are plenty of conference rooms available for hire. There are not many business meetings/conferences during the weekend so expect accommodation room rates to be lower at the weekend and higher during the week (Fri-Sat probably less busy than Sun-Mon).
For me it's really down to price: If I'm after a mid-range hotel in Berlin this meets my criteria, on some dates (like when there'a large business group booking) Rossi comes out more expensive than other similar hotels, on others it's less expensive.
If you want to hold a mini-conference the modern meeting rooms here look OK for up to a dozen or so (perhaps a little more) - obviously you'll check available meeting room sizes and hire rates with the hotel.
