They covered our needs and were very friendly

Very quiet although it was full you can not hear the other guests. It is in a good area, access all public services like SBahn, UBahn buses. I would always recommend it. What it would take is a small fridge for people who stay longer

Unbelievable

OMG, what is this? To make it short: Time travel to 1985.
This has no place on the hotel map of the 2020s.
Also the most unfriendly reception I have ever experienced in Germany, perhaps Europe.

Good budget alternative in a nice part of Berlin

Great location close to Savignyplatz with S-Bahn*, restaurants and shops.
Very comfortable quality beds.
No in house breakfast room, Café 1900 across the street was OK.
Reception and rooms upstairs - challenging starecase!

Terrible,not competent staff

I have made booking via booking.com for 6 days for 2 person, upon arrival I have paid all amount, while chek out the girl at the reception ask me to pay the same amount again as it was amount for 1 person:) the only thing that saved my money was my booking.com confirmation. If the first option to take more money didn’t succeed then she asked me maybe somebody came to our room:) you need to pay money .It’s a SHAME!!!!

Nice hotel in great local

My wife and I stayed in Hotel Vivaldi last weekend during a short visit to Berlin. We booked last minute as we only decided to go on the Wednesday and flew out on the Thursday and we managed to get a good price.
The hotel has a great location very close to Savignyplatz S-Bahn Statio, which makes it very convenient for getting around the city.
On arrival we were allocated a large triple room to the front of the building. We had requested a non smoking room but could smell a very faint hint of smoke on our arrival, even more so in the shower-room but I didn't make an issue of this as we had got such a good rate for the room. The bed was super comfy, which gave us a good nights sleep.
When chose not to have breakfast and instead eat locally, on our last morning we a super cheap breakfast at the Edeka supermarket about 300 metres away, just across the K-Damm.
Overall a good hotel at a great price and I would definitely stay there again.
