Convenient for a concert at the Lido

The single room with a bathroom was spacious and clean. There was even a wardrobe, which is a rarity in this price range nowadays.
The location is very convenient, but one should be prepared for noise in the surrounding area.

Clean room, disappointing customer service

The location was good and the room itself was clean. We stayed there with my son from May 3 to May 5.
Originally, I had fully paid for a non-refundable booking for May 3–6. However, my original flight was cancelled due to the fuel crisis, so I had to urgently buy new plane tickets with different travel dates (May 2–5).
I contacted the hostel in advance and asked if they could simply shift my already paid reservation by one day, since rooms were available. Unfortunately, they refused unless I paid extra, despite the exceptional circumstances.
What disappointed me most was not the policy itself, but the complete lack of flexibility or understanding in a situation outside of my control.
Later I also discovered that my stay apparently was not properly registered in the system, because Booking.com did not allow me to leave a review as a completed guest, even though I genuinely stayed there.
Overall, the room was clean and the location convenient, but the customer experience felt impersonal and not very client-oriented.

Very disappointing experience. I stayed only one night and was bitten by bed bugs during the night. In the morning, I found bed bugs on my bed, so I had to throw away my clothes and buy new ones to avoid bringing them home. The room was extremely hot (around 35°C), with no fan or air conditioning, and the conditions were unacceptable.
To make things worse, when I checked out, I was asked to pay an extra €2.50 just to borrow a mattress sheet. Charging guests for a basic item that is needed to use the bed feels completely unacceptable and like a dishonest extra charge. I would not recommend staying here.

I went to the restroom at night and the toilet paper was out. There was no toilet paper.
