Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms in a not very busy area with good communications (U-bahn, S-bahn, buses).
Situated between Kurfurstendamm and Kantstrasse, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
The not so good:
Strong wifi, but quite often it disconnects for 2-15 minut. This happened more often with my ipad, but not as often with the iphone. Strange and very annoying.
The hotel offers free luggage storage, but the single locker they give you can only hold one piece of luggage (or two if they are small) which in my case made it practically unusable if you travel with two or more bags.
There is no safety deposit box in the room.
These issues aside, I would not hesitate to stay at Limehome Sybelstraße again.

Very bad experience
Extremely poor experience – would not recommend this place at all
I had one of the worst accommodation experiences here. The cleanliness standards are absolutely unacceptable and clearly not being maintained.
When I arrived, the room was not properly cleaned. I found clear signs of previous guests, including hygiene issues that should never be present in a “professionally managed” apartment. During my stay, I also experienced disturbing evidence of very poor housekeeping, including items left behind from previous occupants.
In another room provided to me, I even found used condoms, which is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of proper cleaning and quality control.
On top of that, after my stay, I was unfairly charged a €200 smoking fee, despite not smoking in the apartment at all. The evidence provided was not convincing and seemed to ignore the fact that rooms are clearly not cleaned or checked properly between guests.
Overall, this place feels poorly managed, with low hygiene standards and questionable handling of guest issues. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

Bedside table was dusty, hair pin on a chair and nuts under the table. Could have been cleaner. No air con just a fan and ventilation, room is too hot at this time of the year. No microwave or safe. Terrace not private, we found someone sitting there when we arrived. Garden and rooftop terrace full of cigarettes and rubbish. Needs tlc.

Laundry service did not meet needs. Linen was not changed on day 2. At least towels.

Disappointing stay – Hygiene and safety concerns
Disappointing stay – Hygiene and safety concerns
I stayed at this property in Sybelstraße for two nights and, unfortunately, cannot recommend it for several serious reasons:
Hygiene & Room Condition: Upon arrival, the room had a very unpleasant and persistent odor (resembling feces and bodily fluids). It was clear that the room had not been deep-cleaned or aired out properly. Despite this, I chose not to complain immediately due to my short stay, which I now regret.
Unjustified Extra Charges: After checking out, the hotel tried to charge me an extra "deep cleaning fee" for standard waste and some traces of healing clay (a natural health product). In my opinion, disposing of regular trash and wiping up water-soluble clay falls under standard housekeeping. It feels like an attempt to extract more money from guests.
Safety & Atmosphere: The environment in the building felt very unsafe. There was obvious activity related to the red-light district/sex work occurring within the premises. As a regular guest, seeing this type of activity and the associated "security" or third parties in the hallways made me feel extremely uncomfortable and concerned for my safety.
Conclusion: Between the poor smell in the room, the questionable crowd in the building, and the unjustified cleaning bill, I will not be returning. Travelers looking for a clean and secure environment should look elsewhere.
