Perfect for a Berlin trip!
Anyone who wants to stay in Berlin affordably and yet with good connections to the subway network is in the best hands at the Park Plaza. A great (included) breakfast, and at our request, a quiet room facing the side street. Very friendly staff. Special requests were already addressed at the time of booking. Room cleaning is generally done upon request.
The spacious room (607) made an impression of having seen better days; the furniture is scratched, the closet did not close completely, the nightstand drawers were fake, the door frame in the bathroom is chipped, and the carpet on the floor seems to be in need of replacement. However, it did not bother us; the hotel, with its Andy Warhol ambiance, feels cozy and inviting. We slept very well and felt comfortable. There are probably newer rooms as well.
The Uhlandstraße subway station on the Ku'damm is reachable in five minutes.
In Berlin, there are short-term parking zones everywhere. For those arriving by car, I recommend the affordable parking garage a few minutes further away on Meinekestraße (2nd cross street after Uhlandstraße, on the left) for € 15/day, and not the parking garage right next to the hotel. This one costs twice as much. The QPark on Uhlandstraße is also significantly more expensive (attention for non-Germans: The parking garage only accepts the German Girocard or cash, no credit cards)

Disappointing 4 Star Experience
This hotel is allegedly a 4 star hotel.
As experienced travellers who frequently visit 4-star hotels, we can see that the 4-star standard is far from met.
Breakfast may have been interesting for some but we expect a higher standard than that the coffee from the machine is not the highlight - but AUTOMAT COffee was the highlight at the breakfast buffet!!️
Other reviewers on Tripadvisor mention that the staff seems young and inexperienced, and we support that consideration.
They seem most of all small irritable and seem to be bothered when they are asked for help ( i.e. general things such as cleaning waste in the outdoor area as well as used service which we asked for several times )
Is it normal to have to ask for cleaning, clean towels, coffee capsules for the hotel room? Then a stay at Park Plaza might feel like a kind of indulgence.
Is it embarrassing to have to connect a coffee maker, to expect a cold fridge and that all surfaces are not covered with carpets (for hygiene purposes?)
Is it embarrassing to expect a clean bathroom as well as the possibility that the water from a shower can run out so that you do not fung in it?
The best thing about Park Plaza Berlin was that in their small actually pretty cozy courtyard, when there elles was peace ( see video ) and cleaned up, there was fantastic wildlife.

DISAPPOINTING AND FRUSTRATING!!! DEFINITELY 3 STARS TOO MANY!!!!!
The air conditioning is currently out of order throughout the hotel, which, according to the reception, affects all rooms. With outside temperatures of about 37 °C, this leads to a significant limitation of the contractually owed usability of the rooms. Additionally, we were offered a room at the beginning that was really dirty (see photo). Despite having fully paid for the service, neither an adequate alternative accommodation nor appropriate compensation has been offered so far (currently, we have only received a standing fan - see photos). From my perspective, there is a clear deviation from the owed standard of service.

Good option for a short stay.
It is a good option for a short stay. However the air conditioning was not working properly so that was a disappointment. But very well managed and very well locates.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a good selection. Room comfortable. Hotel in convenient location for public transport and for restaurants.
