Unpleasant day
I had a very unpleasant stay in this hotel. Especially on the second day as my room was not serviced, I did not receive towel and as I tried to contact the reception, they were no longer there. I had no towels the room was dirty. It is an old hotel in massive need of modernization everywhere you look there are damages on the wall on the ceiling or on the floor. The room was more like a storage room, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bed box kept me all the night company. There were mould in the shower. The breakfast is very simple and to my opinion not a three story Hotel. In general, I would not give this hotel more than one star.

The room was good, but the breakfast was only mediocre.
The house is located right at a tram stop and is therefore easily accessible by public transport.
The lady at the reception was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and nice.
Our room faced the back towards the park and was therefore very quiet.
Cleanliness was very good.
The room was spacious and had everything we needed, even a desk and two nice armchairs.
Sufficiently large bathroom with a walk-in shower. Safe in the wardrobe.
We were disappointed with the breakfast. Coffee was only available from the large thermos, with neither cappuccino nor any other coffee specialty. This is simply not up to date nowadays and reminds one more of hospital stays rather than hotels with a cozy atmosphere... The large dining room with the white floor tiles also does not contribute to the coziness. Cold cuts and cheese platters were only refilled very hesitantly. Sweet items, such as croissants or similar, were completely missing.
Guests must handle the setting and clearing of the tables themselves. There is a rolling cart full of dirty dishes in the middle of the hall.
Our conclusion: Due to the very favorable location, we would definitely book this hotel again... but only without breakfast next time.

Not clean! Price-performance is not right at all!
The rooms are small, which would not be so bad in principle, but unfortunately they are not clean!
Rooms are full of spiders and cobwebs (extremely gross) and in the sink were silverfish.
The only positive was the stop outside the door.

Not again.
Eieiei... So, whoever calls hotel prices, must also perform accordingly. I was very disappointed, frankly.
Specifically: The house from the outside is located on a 4-lane main thoroughfare, in addition the tram runs there. If you have a window to the street, you can imagine what that means. From the outside, the building has the dubious charm of a Bundeswehr barracks.
The room then confirmed all prejudices. The first thing that greets you is the free ear opax on your desk. Great. Tiny little piggybacks, stripped carpeting, repelled doors, smelly wardrobe, ancient shower. The fact that the bathroom was not pink tiled was really all that was missing.
For the warm summer weather the house can do nothing, but of course there is no air conditioning. And no mosquito nets either. Meaning in summer: Either not sleeping because of noise or because of heat or because of mosquitoes.
There is full and half board. We were there for a seminar and were fully catered for, with a very changing experience. Between "barely edible" and "very delicious" everything was really there. Apparently depends on the form of the day. The food is available in a dining room, which could urgently use noise protection, because even with about 30% occupancy you no longer understand your own word. I wanted to compare it to a youth hostel, but many hostels would probably be wronged with that.
We have seen that there are apparently also rooms to the courtyard side, which should be considerably better shielded against the street noise and have at least partly a balcony. If you're already here, try to get a room to this side
