Great Staff, wonderful food

Staff was so welcoming, does needs a few updates but staff and food more than made up for it. Dinner was awesome and breakfast was even better. Seems to be run by a family who are just so accommodating. Will definitely be back. Location is great

Gem of a hotel

Amazing hotel in an amazing little town next to the Rhein. We stayed here for three days. Amazing friendly staff. We had a big room overlooking the Rhein. We had a little balcony where we sat looking at the Rhein. Was like a fairy tale. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had an excellent breakfast! Will definitely recommend this gem of a place!

Excellent host

Traveling with my sister and special needs daughter. While the hotel is not handicap accessible, my daughter can climb stairs with assistance. Markus was excellent in responding promptly to my many queries and made every attempt to make things easier for us. We loved staying there. Dinner was excellent, the view of the Rhine is great. All in all it was a good experience.

Indeed a pearl

Driving back home to the Netherlands we stopped for a night at the Perle. Granted it is a small hotel but our Host knew who we were as soon as we walked in, and referred to us by our name. It rarely happens in things day and age.
The rooms are average in size and very quiet, ours had a balcony overlooking the river. Cleanliness was ten out of ten, bathroom very clean also but small (only a shower, no bathtub). Bed was very comfortable and the little extras that they provide are better than many 5 star hotels in London. We even had complimentary water, there were amenities in the bathroom and a sewing kit. NB this is a two star property.
As we were there for such a short period we decided to stay in the restaurant and have a few drinks and dinner there. If you do not decide to stay here, at least have dinner, it is well worth it, food was truly divine but I think you might have to book ahead. The restaurant was packed but I can tell you that this did not impact on service or quality.
Breakfast the following morning was just as delicious after a good nights' sleep. I have had a lot of fried eggs in my time but I have to say I don't think I have ever had such a delicious fried egg, the bread is great and coffee was perfect.
I can honestly say that I will be happy to return to the Perle am Rhein. Thank you for looking after us.

A genuine 'Pearl'

Pearl by name and pearl by nature. The hosts are amazing and could not be more helpful. The room we had was small but beautifully formed. Clean with a lovely comfy bed. We had our evening meal in the hotel restaurant and it was superb and great value. Breakfast is also very nice.
