absolutely sensational, I would love to come back.

Very family run hotel, all staff very polite and helpful. Rooms very spacious and clean. The restaurant has great food and drinks. Breakfast is awesome, I've never had such good fried eggs. Large parking lot right in front of the house. I'd love to come back.

Good business hotel with very good restaurant!

I stayed here one night for a convention.
The staff is friendly and accommodating.
Our waiter at dinner was extremely attentive he always came when mine had his wheat almost empty and asked if you want another one. That's how Gastro works! The room was large and had a good working area. I think it's a shame that the hotel doesn't offer free drinking water in the room. The dinner was excellent!

Nice Hotel

It was a one night stay as part of our castles tour. Room was nice, clean and comfortable- but lacks air conditioning. Dinner was fantastic as well as the wait staff, they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Front desk also very nice. Great stay.

Very good cuisine - beware in midsummer!

We stayed here in transit from Hamburg to Italy for one night. The family run hotel is clean and has very good cuisine. We had very good dinner and also the breakfast on the terrace was great. Unfortunately, however, we did not have a good night at all. The rooms are not air conditioned, on a hot July day (33 degrees) this is a real problem, the rooms heat up enormously. It only gets a little better at night with the window open. But then you can hear the church bell directly opposite, which rings every hour all night!! Why this must be in this otherwise rather sleepy place directly opposite a hotel with 80 rooms is completely incomprehensible to me.
The small swimming pool in the basement of the annex can also be forgotten, has nothing to do with the usual standard of a 4-star hotel.
Conclusion: In all cooler seasons and with windows then closed, the hotel is a valid choice, especially if you appreciate the very good (but also priced) cuisine. But be careful in midsummer!
