Super nice short break

We liked everything extraordinarily well. The rooms were spacious, the toilet separated from the bathroom and a large roof terrace (we could not use due to the weather) rounded off the short break. The food was good and the scraped spaetzle very delicious. The breakfast buffet offered all kinds of treats and the egg dishes were freshly prepared on request. The whole staff was very accommodating, friendly and you could feel the cohesion of a great team.

Stopover

Usual hotel fully booked then we found this gem. A bit out of town but close to motorway Ness Affentaler winery. Typical, silent (except for Sunday church bells) southern German village. We had a two bed apartment with living room and balcony..wunderbar! Chef patron turns out delicious (and ample) local specialties in a restaurant obviously well frequented by locals. Great breakfast. Plenty parking and a beautiful garden to chill on. Plenty places to go for a stroll. Another place to add to our go-to touring list

Nightstop

Arrived in this picturesque German town,parked up at the hotel and no one at home,place all locked up.lucky enough I had kept the email confirmation which had the hotels number on it.The landlady answered right away and quickly let us in.
Rooms where large and airy.A very welcoming and friendly place.We had our evening meal outside and again was impressed with the quality of the meal.
Nothing was too much trouble and service with a smile.would definitely stay again.

Hotel with good soul

We slept in many hotels during the holidays but only this one had a soul. Roms haven't numbers they have names. Room was very big, comfortable and extremely clean with balcony and kitchenette. Bathroom was clean and big. Bed was comfortable. Good breakfast with wide choice of dishes and good coffee. Owner speaks English well. The peaceful surroundings, nice restaurant with good prices and very good beer. They have reasonable prices and real German cuisine. Free parking place. Internet was free but not very fast.

expected for something better

We spent 3 nights at this hotel.
Room was OK, but did not include a balcony as promised.
Not much view from the windows, mainly the neighboring houses. That caused a bit of inconvenience since in spite of the curtains, it was not possible to have full privacy in the bathroom.
The hotel provides free WiFi, but it's slow. No reception at the outdoor terrace.
Most staff members do not speak English. It was quite problematic at the restaurant since the menu is also in German only.
We did not enjoy the food at dinners and eventually we preferred to go to a near hotel that served dishes that we liked more, for a lower price.
Breakfast was OK, but nothing exciting. We had better ones in other hotels.
The hotel offers parking, but I doubt if there is enough parking for all guests when the hotel is fully booked.
