Nice vacation
Absolutely recommendable establishment; our requests were accommodated, whether it was a different room, the daily newspaper for grandma, or extra coffee at breakfast—no problem. Always friendly staff, especially in the restaurant from the afternoon on; parking spaces are sufficiently available. We would love to come back!

Nice hotel but breakfast is unfortunately not a 4-star level
Nice place, the location of as well as the room was great.
“Unfortunately, breakfast has clouded our stay. The fact that you get a plastic thermos on the table in a 4-star hotel, we found absolutely silent and inappropriate. The quality of the coffee was correspondingly weak.

Pleasant hotel with recommended Service
The hotel looks new and modern inside and has an elevator. So that the rooms on the upper floors are also easily accessible. The adjacent dining restaurant is easily accessible both inside the hotel and from the outside.
The room was spacious and very clean. Furthermore, it was modern and had 2 large windows including balcony, which provided sufficient brightness during the day. The room door could be opened with a key card. The floor was composed of a wood-like floor covering and tiles. Free, readily available wall sockets were available in sufficient numbers in the room. A shoe spoon was already part of the interior, which made demand unnecessary. A paid minibar and flat-screen TV were also included. The bed offered ample space and was very comfortable. The windows could be darkened well with the help of an over-curtain, which additionally allowed a good sleep in it. The bed was accompanied by a large pillow and a small pillow. In addition to the bed, there were also plenty of other seating options, consisting of a small sofa and an armchair. The wardrobe that belonged to the room consisted of closed and open elements.
Despite the lack of window in the bathroom it was bright and friendly. The shower was adequate in size and the showerhead provided a pleasant flow of water. There was also a small storage facility for the shower utensils.
At the breakfast buffet there was something for every taste. Starting with yogurt, tasty fish, fruit, spreads, fresh sausage cuts and pastries. If something ran out at the buffet during breakfast time, it was also immediately refilled. There was a small selection of juices and even sparkling wine was available. The selection of bread and rolls could also be considered quite satisfactory.
The whole team, from reception to housekeeping to restaurant, were always courteous and friendly. The check-in and check-out were carried out quickly and professionally. The reception staff endeavoured to solve even unusual situations optimally and to find a simple solution. The staff at the housekeeping were always friendly and helpful. As soon as they entered the breakfast restaurant, the staff had a friendly word ready and inquired about the preferences for coffee/tea variation as well as the preferred type of egg dish (boiled, fried, scrambled eggs, etc.). Good Wi-Fi reception was possible in the room as well as throughout the hotel without interruptions. There were two associated, well-kept, smaller, free parking spaces, which were nevertheless sufficient. One was located just across the street from the hotel, the other was about 50 metres away.
A small sauna, which was available to the hotel's guests free of charge upon prior reservation, was also available in the hotel. For the sauna you were given a bathrobe on request. In addition, hotel guests were able to use the local wave pool for 2.5 hours a day free of charge through a cooperation with the local swimming pool “Meerzeit”.

Very well run, beautiful hotel a few minutes from the harbor and dike
Hotel and Restaurant Alter Muschelsaal can be recommended without reservation. The location is excellent, you can be at the harbor and the dyke in 2 minutes. The shopping street is not far away either. The hotel is in a quiet location and is new, the rooms are large and well furnished. We had a comfort room without a balcony facing the inner courtyard and were completely satisfied. The restaurant in the historic Muschelsaal serves upscale cuisine, very tasty. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. They keep replenishing it when something runs low. The staff deserves special mention: everyone is friendly, helpful and always cheerful. We felt very comfortable.

Zentral gelegenes tolles Hotel
Spontan gebucht und voll ins Schwarze getroffen. Ein tolles Hotel, alles sehr gut ausgestattet und durchdacht kombiniert mit Tradition. Tolles Frühstück im urigen Muschelsaal mit allem was dazu gehört. Freundlich und familiär geführt.
