Wonderful feel-good place

The wine barn in the small Moselle village of Valwig (Cochem is about 3.5 km away and there is a path directly along the Moselle, or you take the bus, connection also on Saturdays and Sundays) is an absolute place to feel good! The hotel and restaurant are owner-managed and you can see and feel this everywhere as a guest, very tasteful and super well-kept ambience, very dedicated and courteous team, a breakfast buffet that was sooo diverse and delicious, in short, we spent a great relaxed weekend in the wine barn. Very happy to come back!

Can only be recommended

We have been to the hotel 2 times now and would like to return. The rooms are spacious, neat and clean, and they have a lovely balcony overlooking the Moselle. Breakfast is delicious with a large selection. In addition there is afternoon coffee and cake, as well as dinner of really good quality.The staff are friendly and helpful. Can only recommend the place. In the city there are small outlets/vineyards and good dining places.

5 days very pleasant break

We were here for dinner last year. This year we stayed at the hotel for 5 days. We had a room to the Moselle with balcony. It was very spacious, quiet, clean and the shower walk-in. My wife needs to eat gluten-free, we sorted that out in advance and there were no problems at breakfast or dinner. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.
