Vacation in the city

Great hotel by the city forest. You really get the feeling of being on vacation when you look from the terrace out onto the lake and into the forest. The building is getting on in years a bit, but everything is still in order. The breakfast (buffet) on the great terrace is highly recommended!

Great hotel, but some of the staff need training.

The location of the hotel is great, and my colleague's room and mine are also excellent.
Only the friendliness of some of the staff leaves a lot to be desired.
My experience today at 9:50 PM was that I would have liked to sit on the really beautiful terrace with a glass of wine at 30 degrees.
This was denied to me by a gentleman, as the terrace is now closing, because someone might try to come into the hotel with a knife over the terrace.
The access through the main entrance door was freely accessible upon my arrival at 4 AM, by the way.
When I asked the gentleman for his name, he told me very unfriendly: "I have no name," he turned around, disappeared into the kitchen, and left me standing there.
Yesterday morning, I requested to validate my parking exit ticket.
Extremely curt was the statement: "I get six euros." Not that it would be six euros, in a friendly tone, or anything like that.
By the way, the parking fee was included in my booking.
He "got" nothing.
By the way, after about a year and a half, this is my second stay at this hotel.
(Each for five nights.)
It would be a shame if I had to look for another hotel in the future because of these people.
The location is, for my needs, fantastic.

Well maintained hotel, good for business stay

Well maintained hotel, friendly and professional staff (personal thanks to reception manager Panu - if I spell the name corrcetly), very good brekfast, convenient open parking on site. Will be back.

Great. Staff were fantastic. Tom was freezing first night. They were apologetic and have me free food the rest of the stay to make up for the problem. I would stay here again!
