Great stay. Friendly staff. A bit tucked away from the city center about a 25 min walk to the cathedral. I enjoyed my stay.

Very disappointing stay. There was no water in the morning, meaning I couldn’t shower or even brush my teeth before leaving. What made the situation worse was the staff’s complete lack of ownership, they neither apologised meaningfully nor offered any practical solution or alternative. This fell well below the standard I’d expect from a hotel. I hope management gets in touch to explain what happened and offers appropriate compensation for the disruption.

Spartan stay

The motel is rather spartan but sufficient for short trips.
However, the morning wake-up call must be taken over by your own mobile phone.
Bar is well stocked
Breakfast is good but after three days unfortunately little variety .
Phone in the room they search in vain.
Bed and pillow were very comfortable

Motel One always goes

I've stayed at a lot of Motel One. You just know what you're getting.
The rooms are pretty much the same everywhere. Breakfast buffet was above average. Public parking garage only.

Eig not bad down to the carpet..

The rooms are relatively small, carpeted everywhere that has rented a bit. Windows/walls/doors soundproof, the curtains darken well. Unfortunately, the remote control was sticky.. Safe and hairdryer available, bathroom was top modern and has a great shower. Good location at Mediapark, parking within walking distance in TG possible (20€/d incl. 5€ hotel discount). Staff absolutely friendly!!! Bar prices fair, breakfast nice and sumptuous.
Affordable option in Cologne, you can also book in a tourist setting - 5min by car to the train station.
