Very quiet hotel in the residential area, which offers everything you need.
Rooms are clean, service excellent and the two siblings are just TOPP. Here you like to come back, especially because of the breakfast! Restaurants are within walking distance. 1.5 km

Great base for cycling tour

Start and finish of cycle tour around the site of the old Berlin Wall. Great hotel; very-well organised; brilliant holiday. Luggage transported in advance to city centre hotel in Berlin after day 1 cycling and then on to small town south of Berlin during day 2. After that it was a trip back to Dallgow (including a short ferry crossing). Highly recommended.

A Bit Far Out

Situated 10 kliks east of Spandau the hotel is easily accessible from route B5 if you have wheels. If using public transport it is a tiresome drag. I normally stay in Berlin proper but fancied a change however the downside is getting into Berlin centre - 22 mins. to B. Hauptbahnhof and thats after the time it takes to get to Dallgow stn. Hotel is part of an apartment block but it's not a dump, on the contrary. I had a large three bed room to myself with a view into nearby woods. Room had TV (only CNN in English) and a modern fridge plus some comfy chairs. Power shower one of the best I have come across, will almost flay skin! Very clean as well. Breakfast is taken in the basement where there are a series of little rooms giving a very cosy effect. Better than average breakfast with something new every day added to the usual continental offerings. Excellent jams and honey - none of that weak and watery stuff one gets in those small plastic containers. Super coffee served by a very nice young lady though we could only converse with my limited Deutsch and pantomime. The owner is very friendly, helpful and speaks limited but good English. Met me at the station (otherwise a 20 minute walk) and offered to take me to the station in the mornings. There is no lobby and reception is an office. There is a bar but I don't think it opened while I was there. There is a vending machine supplying snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine
at reasonable prices (bottle opener supplied in room!). For a two star I found it better than quite a few 3 star places that I have stayed at. Would certainly stay here again but only with my own transport.

nur bedingt zu Empfehlen

Hotel ist wirklich nur zum Schlafen geeignet. Umringt von Baustellen im Nirgendwo!!
Am besten bei Dunkelheit Anreisen und morgens gleich wieder weg. Zimmer sind ok, aber es wurde bei mir ein Doppelzimmer gebucht und ich habe nur ein EZ bekommen. An der Rezeption „ist halt so“. Na ja, da hat wohl jemand mehr bezahlt. So etwas geht nicht. Ich komme nicht wieder.
