Hiking and relaxing in the Palatinate

Super located on the Palatinate High Trail, awesome spa and outdoor pool, super delicious food, staff very helpful and nice, absolutely recommended!

Welcoming, professional and delicious food!

I slept 4 nights in this hotel. From this hotel I have ridden motorcycle routes.
In summary: professional, welcoming and customer friendly.
And enjoyed a 4-course dinner every night! In the morning a fine breakfast buffet!

Bad luck with the room lottery

I booked a night in a single room online at this 4-star hotel, and was rather disappointed on site overall.
The room was clearly too small for the asking price and seemed cramped overall.
I was particularly struck by the soiled carpeting, which left an unkempt impression.
The bathroom was also very small, and the shower was extremely slippery due to its construction, shower cup as a kind of pedestal – there is definitely a risk of injury here.
A TV attached to the wardrobe (!) by means of a support arm gives an idea of the "size" of the room.
The fact that the chair was the braided specimen of a garden chair could not make it any worse.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was okay, but that alone unfortunately cannot compensate for the shortcomings in the room.
I will not book this hotel again.
All of the above statements relate exclusively to the premises I have endured.

Great starting point for the Palatinate High Trail

We had booked the hiking arrangement and walked the first 3 stages of the Palatinate High Trail from the Bastenhaus. The hotel’s pick-up and drop-off service was gold valued, as there is no bus on Saturday and Sunday. Very good and delicious was the 4-course menu after the stage. Food intolerances were no problem for the kitchen! Everyone was very friendly and professional.

Successful weekend

You can only feel comfortable here. The hosts are very nice and accommodating, the food is just awesome. The house is very nicely decorated. The wellness area is small but fine and furnished with love. An all-round successful weekend.
