“Guesthouse” type hotel

Small hotel located on the street of the magnificent “houses of the master Bauhaus architects”. Welcome, rooms, breakfast, everything is perfect, in a guesthouse atmosphere. The establishment has even provided parking, equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles. We will return without hesitation.

Very pleasant.

The hotel is located in a quiet street directly opposite the master houses.
The room was clean and a good size, the furniture was well-kept. We slept very well.
The breakfast met our expectations.

Cheap accommodation in a good location

Nice family hotel on a quiet side street, directly opposite the Bauhaus master houses. Very friendly and helpful manager, clean and reasonably large room, beautiful garden (unfortunately closed from 10 p.m.). Access and parking somewhat narrow, but there are enough parking spaces on the public street for free. Very reasonable prices.

Quiet location - short distances

We had reserved for one night to immerse ourselves in Bauhaus history.
The hotel is located in a quiet area near a park and directly opposite the Masters' Houses.
With a few exceptions, Dessau's restaurants can only be reached by car.
We were a little early. Unfortunately, it was not possible to move into the room before check-in time.
The room was huge, the furniture sparse for its size and more like a hardware store.
Unfortunately, the room and the hallway to the bathroom are carpeted.
The TV is very small (for the size of the room) and you would need binoculars to watch it from the bed
We then placed the TV on the desk thanks to a long cable.
The bed was reasonably comfortable but that is always a very individual thing.
The pillow was, as is often the case, a lumpy thing, probably made of feathers. There was also a small decorative pillow.
The bathroom was accessible via a small hallway (in the room!). Also huge with a shower, bathtub and double washbasin. There was a magnifying mirror.
We didn't feel comfortable in this room.
Breakfast was a buffet. It was well laid out. Unfortunately, the rolls were like rubber, and there was no coffee machine, so every drink had to be ordered from the waiter.
In addition to the breakfast room, there is also a winter garden.
All in all, we haven't had such a sad breakfast in a long time.
We booked this hotel because of the very positive reviews on a booking portal. How these came about is unclear to us.
As always, this reflects our very personal experiences and impressions.

Nice small hotel with friendly staff

We stayed here for three nights and found it a decent place. Our room was spacious and well maintained (The interior is a bit 1990s). The breakfast is absolutely ok if you take into account the price. The staff is friendly and kind. The location is a bit off the city center but with good distance to the “Bauhaus”
