Always beautiful

Short break to relax. Nice evening in the “ inn ”.
New menu of spring dishes. Asparagus, fish and delicious meat dishes.
Great ambience, attentive service team. Excellent wine list.
Cosy bar with great drinks and small fine menu. Highly recommended is the Tatar.

Surprise excursion to the Black Forest

We fled with my wife to spend a relaxing night and enjoy a culinary experience. The Hotel Die Burg, with its Michelin-starred restaurant, has a family and very familiar atmosphere. We have chosen a package that includes the full tasting menu, hotel accommodation, breakfast and in-room details. It was a very comprehensive experience, the hotel was charming , modern and well maintained, the dinner was great. The homemade dishes were taken to the next level by the chef and perfectly adapted to my wife's allergies. Breakfast is very extensive and equipped with high quality products, you can choose between cold dishes or freshly prepared omelettes... perfect for a short break for a day or two and the restaurant is highly recommended.

Such a beautiful house

Five stars say it all Friendly service, finely furnished rooms, a great atmosphere, arrive and feel good. The finest breakfast. Dogs are welcome guests Side rooms available for meetings. It's always a pleasure to be a guest here

Quality Pension with Excellent Value for Award

Originally, it is a gourmet restaurant (recommended by the Michelin) that offers a few rooms above the restaurant. Spacious rooms, comfortable, very well equipped. The place is quiet (residential area), there is parking, and of course the restaurant, or for a slightly cheaper version a bar/brewery that offers salads and burger. The staff is competent and very nice and helpful, always very available and attentive. They do not speak French, but most speak English. Finally, good to know for travelers accompanied by their pet: they are very dog friendly (as apparently everywhere in Germany). A real difference compared to many hotels in France.

Hidden gem in The Black Forest ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Restaurant at Die Burg Hotel is known to be the best restaurant within miles. The Brothers Grom have honed their skills in some of the best and most progressive restaurants of Europe, before opening up their own vision in the community they grew up in. The menu features German classics like Zwiebelrostbraten and Maultaschen, but it’s with the 5-course Die Burg Tasting menu that Chef Jasons full repertoire can be experienced. Dishes like In-House smoked Salmon-Trout with almonds and mirabelle plums, or Seared Duck with Red Cabbage and Coconut are instant classics! Everything is complemented with a perfect wine pairing, made by youngest brother Niklas. It features fresh and unexpected glasses from mamy German vineyards. Visiting the area and looking hopelessly for a decent place to eat? Go to Die Burg and meet the team before they rise to unevitable fame! Michelin stars are on their way.
