A very cozy Inn in a village by the Weser

Beautiful hotel with restaurant and very delicious cuisine. Very polite and sympathetic staff. Very large and cozy rooms. There is parking and a garage for bikes. The hotel was 100% satisfied. I want to go there again. Everything was just great.

Staff very friendly. Really, everybody.
Owner quickly became unfriendly when talking about not working shower and that unfortunately loud. Water does not drain and the water is in the bath. We used all the towels to rescue the situation. She knows about this problem and makes you feel so scared. The food was partly good and fresh, partly a finished product.

Lovely experience.

I stayed in the Pfeffermuehle for 5 or 6 nights while traveling in Niedersachsen last summer (2014). It is family-owned and everyone who works there is very nice. My room was quite comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast is generous and there are many choices. The traffic on the highway that passes in front can be a bit noisy, even in the middle of the night, so it is better to have a room in the back.

This hotel makes Dörverden worth a visit!!

We spent a night here on our anniversary bicycle tour. This hotel/restaurant was the highlight of our trip (and we sayed in five star places, too)!! The staff went to great lengths in welcoming us. Each and every one of them was extremely friendly and polite, they even congratulated us on our anniversary! Our bikes were safely locked in into a garage. The room was recently renovated, utterly clean and very stylish. The blooming garden was a feast to the senses. The restaurant was open, unlike many others in the region, and served us a hearty evening meal.
Next time we will definitely book a garden room again - and ask for a possibility for a hot breakfast including eggs, sausages and such, as the breakfast on offer was a cold one.
The region is great for bike tours, and Hotel Pfeffermühle makes Dörverden worth a stay!!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Sehr freundliches Hotel an der Hauptstraße. Die Zimmer sind sauber, einfach, allerdings auch ohne jedes Extra wie Fön etc.
Das Restaurant ist Top, ich hatte extrem leckeren Spargel, da stimmt alles.
Gerne wieder.
Für Fahrradfahrer: Es gibt eine Garage, diese wird nachts verschlossen.
