Always book direct for best prices and service
Had a week here so we could relax down and bit and take our time to see Dusseldorf. Very handy being next to train station, but a few down and outs around that area, which is not uncommon in Germany, no bother. But sometimes in morning the front door area could do with a good steam clean.
We received a warm welcome, when checking in, got a nice corner room, 1 bedroom suite. Everything was perfect. No noise, very clean, had some great sleeps. Able to use Adina as a nice base to walk back and fore to the sights. Would easy stay again as very good service.

Clean room and lovely staff. The location was great as it's close to both the hbf and Little Tokyo. Would definitely recommend.

The Adina Duesseldorf Hotel is conveniently located bedside the main train station, and I stayed here for the first time during a major trade fair. Thus, prices were elevated - which can of course be expected.
However, my stay still left me disappointed: the room layout was awkward and impractical with lots of space waste for a huge "foyer" area with no function - and a very small bathroom where the shower area was so badly designed that every shower led to major "flooding".
The kitchen was minimal and not very functional and my outside view was limited to a brick wall. Also, one can clearly hear the trains operating all night - not good for light sleepers. For such a new property this is not acceptable for the price charged, and other Adina Hotels do this much better.
While check in was quick the staff generally does not respond to requests from guests: a broken light or the disconnected TV - none of this got fixed even after several requests made at the front desk.
Parking is very expensive at 25 EUR per night for hotel guests and parking bays are extremely narrow.
Breakfast was fine, but served in such a cramped space that it did not at all feel welcoming or relaxing - more like fast food restaurant atmosphere. The breakfast service staff is very friendly and efficient, though.
Overall, I did not enjoy my stay here - and am not likely to return.

I booked this property because of the large rooms and proximity to the HBF. The first room we entered smelled like sewer. The staff quickly set us up with a new room. The new room had duct tape on the broken cabinets, a cigarette under a bench, no iron, and worst of all, no air conditioning. I booked this hotel because the listing stated it has has AC. It does not. It has an "air flow" system. Staff is aware of this issue. The room was warm and they could not switch me to another room because they were fully booked. I receieved no compensation or discount or solution.

The room was not ready and we had a long wait even tho I contacted them in advance. Staff were not very friendly. The location was grotty - near the station which was convenient but drug takers openly shooting up on the street was not expected. Breakfast was ok but no variety. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was not clean. The bin was dirty and there was visible dirt in corners of the shower and on the tiles. I was travelling with family and my room was a good size but my son’s room was tiny but was $300 per night more. I’m also waiting for a refund on overcharge for breakfast.
