Centrally located hotel with particularly friendly staff

Very good value for money. The rear rooms are quiet, practical, comfortable bed, everything very clean, including the bathroom.
Nice bar in the 7th. Floor of the hotel with a view over Düsseldorf. Rich breakfast with very good coffee.
The hotel is in a great location. You can't get to the hotel by car, but there are two large car parks across the street, from which you have a short walk to the hotel.
The staff is very friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Perfect location for a day of shopping and as icing on the cake a brilliant rooftop bar

One night in Cloud One. We had booked the slightly larger corner room and were absolutely satisfied.
I don't give the full five points here because there was something missing for the perfect evaluation.
The rooms are actually quite small. That's why we chose the bigger one. It's enough for one night. The rooms are modern and chic. The bed was very comfortable and even with the windows open it was very quiet sometime after 11pm.
The location is perfect and we had a great view.
The roof terrace is the highlight of the hotel and also serves as a breakfast restaurant. And here comes a reason that has influenced the valuation a little. The breakfast itself is great. Great selection, very good quality, delicious rolls. And basically that's always a matter of taste anyway. However, the seating is hardly suitable for a cozy breakfast. Except for a few tables, the available seats are intended for a chilled afternoon or evening at the bar, rather than breakfast. Armchairs and kidney tables were a bit too low for a comfortable breakfast. Of the "normal" tables, not so many were available. And the few were already occupied.
Yes, I do. That's high-level whining.
The breakfast was really delicious and somehow we could come to terms with the seating.
I would also like to thank the friendly staff. Whether at the reception, the evening bar or the early service at breakfast. All staff were super friendly and accommodating.
We had a very pleasant day and could enjoy our break from everyday life.
I can recommend the Cloud One to anyone who wants to spend the night centrally and who wants to end the evening on a small but fine roof terrace after a long day of shopping. The gin selection is also impressive;-)

Avoid

This Hotel used to be wonderful, but since their old group CEO changed has gone downhill; particularly on simple items regarding Service. The member of staff that did the check in could not read and asked me to dictate my address from my business card. The next day the lady on reception wouldn’t provide me a double douvet for my wife scheduled arrival. I also found it rather strange that she insisted that it is normal to provide a single douvet for a room with a double bed. Unfortunately my Advice is to avoid this hotel until these Basic Management issues are solved .

Great location, great staff and a good breakfast. Room was clean with a good view. Would definitely stay here again.
