Top Hotel

Very nicely appointed hotel rooms and extremely friendly staff. We felt very comfortable. The sauna is also cuddly. Ambience and value for money is perfect. We will come back to you safely and let us spoil ourselves. Restaurant super

Terrible noise

Stayed with my Family here, and below the hotel room they are renting out an event room for parties. Be careful, don't go there if you want a calm room for a good sleep.
Seien Sie vorsichtig, gehen Sie nicht dorthin, wenn Sie einen ruhigen Raum für einen guten Schlaf wollen. Bei unserer Anwesentheit wurde der Partyraum für eine Hochzeit genutzt.

We won't be back

Room smelled of smoke, breakfast very poor (especially for the price) and 170 € for 2 people / 1 night more than disproportionate. Nocturnal noise in the street (at around 2:30 am noisy youth). Cosy breakfast room. We're not coming back.

Nice hotel

We booked a room for a wedding at the Mariandl.
First of all I would like to praise the two young ladies, at the reception, who were super friendly and helpful.
As for the apartment, there are some points that should and can be changed. We only had two nights now, so it is not bad if the jackets hang over the chair, as there is no wardrobe at all, let alone hooks, although there is enough space for it. Also in the bathroom. Also the open stained glass windows took some getting used to because you could look inside, very uncomfortable.
The value for money as far as breakfast is concerned is a smooth lacking. Since we have been to many hotels, we can compare it well. For 15,50€ I expect a mega breakfast. It was an ordinary selection and nothing more. I know there's a shortage of staff everywhere, but if a bride and groom reserve a table for morning, for 20 people, that should work. I had to remind the service in the morning and then quickly put together a few tables because you forgot. Since the rooms and breakfast are not small price, it absolutely corresponds to the real performance :-(

Disappointing stay

We had booked on the occasion of a wedding extremely early a large apartment for 4 people. Due to a system error, I got a call asking if we would agree with 2 equivalent, large rooms. I gave my consent. When we arrived we got a very small room with a 1.40 bed. I asked if there weren't bigger beds - and it was said no, they were all so small, which surprised me extremely. At the wedding I learned that there are very much larger rooms and beds, so we went again to complain. The young employee was really very helpful and we were finally able to switch to the last available room. We lost a whole hour. I wrote an email to the manager, describing our unsatisfactory stay - and unfortunately never got a reply.
Our night was unfortunately also not particularly good, as there was a huge rumbling climate?system right in front of the room in the backyard.
Overall, it is certainly a good place to stay - but the rooms are very zero-eight-fifteen, the hooks on the barrier already came loose and the mattresses had a rubber coating, as is usual in hospitals. What you should also know: it is a celebration location and especially on weekends there is a lot going on.
