Friendly, very accommodating, clean, rich breakfast and good value for money

We spent a weekend in Franconia and found the location to be good, as climbers can easily reach many rocks from there. The service was very friendly and the breakfast was very plentiful and good (jam, cheese, eggs, coffee, honey, sausage... and much more). The rooms are clean, the mattresses are a bit harder, which I personally like, and I slept well there.

Wohlfühlen in familiärer Atmosphäre

Die kleine Frühstückspension liegt am oberen Rand von Egloffstein an der wenig befahrenen Markgrafenstraße und ist sehr ruhig. Die Eheleute Grau und die Tochter Sandra sind sehr liebenswürdige und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Sie haben uns auch mit Informationen über die Gegend und Restaurantmöglichkeiten informiert. Das Zimmer war geräumig, standardmäßig ausgestattet, sehr sauber und hatte zu unserer Freude keinen Teppichboden aber einen großen Balkon. W-LAN war kostenlos verfügbar. Leider war das Bett sehr hart. Das Frühstück wird im ehemaligen Wohnzimmer der Familie am Tisch serviert und ist ausreichend aber leider wenig abwechslungsreich. Einige Parkplätze sind neben dem Haus, einige unterhalb an der Straße. Wir haben uns in der familiären Atmosphäre bei der Familie Grau sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.
