Fine place at good value

The Hotel Fuchs is one of these places I just like on private trips: Simple, unpretentious, good value, friendly staff. Especially the friendliness stands out, but everything is equally good: Clean rooms, centrally located, offered a safe place to keep my travelling bike overnight.

Very central, lovely staff, great views of the hills too. I was very grateful for the water and beer fridge in the corridor, what a lovely extra touch. There was even a shoe-shine machine and the complimentary umbrellas were a god-send.

Nice old style hotel

We had a very large room, actually an apartment of 2 rooms. The room was clean, old design and basic, a renovation is recommended.
Breakfast is standard and served in the attached hotels cafe / bakery.
Over all, friendly atmosphere, good location and good value for price

Very enjoyable stay

We stayed here for two nights while visiting our son. We had the junior suite, which was huge and a bargain for the price. The room had a really nice balcony to enjoy coffee or a beer. The internet worked fine. Fully enclosed standup shower with great water pressure. Location is very central. If you want a cab to take you somewhere my suggestion is to let them know several hours in advance so they can order one for the time you need.
The breakfast was more than adequate and included cappuccino (nice touch). The main floor is an amazing bakery/restaurant and they bake all the cakes/pies. Definitely have lunch here or coffee and a treat. Though not open for dinner. Across the street is restaurant open for dinner that has great traditional German food.
