Beautiful weekend with end Schiller concert in Merkers

The rooms are very individually designed and cozy. Breakfast is rich and on request the egg variations are freshly prepared. Very good service as we forgot sports gear. These were sent back. Not for granted.

Nice and quiet hotel

Very nicely located hotel in the villa district of Eisenach . Quiet location . Parking is available on the streets nearby .
We had 3 rooms and each has been tasteful and exceptionally beautiful.
If you have orthopedic problems , the hotel is not recommended for those, because you have to go some stairs to the hotel and also in the villa . There is no elevator.
The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Fresh fruit salad , egg dishes freshly prepared on request, fresh orange juice to squeeze yourself , large cheese and sausage selection ......
The breakfast room is also tastefully decorated.
The bathroom is equipped with high quality toiletries. Nespresso machine and filled minibar .
I give ( unfortunately ) 1 star deduction , because the bathroom was not clean . Too bad, with such an exceptionally nice hotel .

Perfect hotel for travelers with dogs

Very nice hotel! Large, great furnished rooms with free minibar and high quality cosmetics, fluffy bathrobes. Nice and very animal-loving staff. Wonderful delicious breakfast with sparkling wine and freshly squeezed juice.
We really enjoyed the whole ambience and would have liked to stay longer.
Our dog also felt very comfortable there and was warmly welcome.
The location is ideal for an extensive hike through the nearby Drachenschlucht, the Wartburg is also nearby. The city center can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. Free parking on the street possible. We can absolutely recommend the place. We will definitely come back! Many thanks to the friendly team of the hotel and see you soon

Around satisfied

The hotel is beautifully located with views and in the district of many interesting villas. Parking is ample, the rooms are modern decorated and clean. The highlight is the breakfast buffet. Such a selection and fresh ones are rarely found.
The staff is very friendly and gives hiking tips. The city center is within walking distance in 15-20 min. We would book this hotel again.

Completely unacceptable for the price.
No elevator and 2 floors up plus about 2 floors to get to the entrance.
And no help. Not accessible for the elderly and people with disabilities. Oh yeah, there is free parking across the street. And the entrance is a garbage dump, so absolutely not recommended
