Great with a few negatives...
The family owned house has 2 double rooms and 4 appartments, looks nice from the outside and has a cafe attached. Check in (only from 3-5pm and with appointment) was professional, kind and friendly. Plus point: I was shown to my room and got an explanation of the extras included/ main handling. The appartments and double rooms can be reached over a seperate entrance. On the ground floor is a common room with a sofa and long dining table. Parking is behind the house and free of charge. Internet is available free of charge in the common room with connection getting worse the higher you get up in the house.I was able to get access in my room (slow and with many disconnections).
The room itself is huge, very modern furnished, super clean and has everything what your heart desires. A double bed, a small eating table with two chairs, a small seating area with a flatscreen, a huge bathroom (only with shower though), a balcony and a fully furnished kitchen site with dishwasher, microwave, water heater, coffee machine, toaster, dishes, cutlery and 2 cooking stoves. I totally loved it.
Theres one big catch though… the double room is located on the top floor with sloped walls. This looks great but coming to the summer months, heat is a huge problem. Even though all windows are fitted with black rollos (except the bathroom window which was fitted with a white one and gives you a free of charge sauna) the room is heating up extremely. Usually I wouldnt mind, but travelling with a small child, who needs to sleep early… good luck! Could be easily fixed with installing an air con. The appartments are on the first floor with normal walls, so guessing they do not have the same problem.
The location itself is good to explore the closer surroundings. Blankenburg and Wernigerode are an appr. 30min drive away with its burgs and castles, parks etc. For example BURG UND FESTUNG REGENSTEIN in Blankenburg is beautiful. The BROCKEN is an 1 hrs drive away or by train around 2hrs.
All in all I would def recommend the Cafe & Ferienwohnungen Eli Lenti, but not for single persons travelling with a small child (heat, internet access, noise).

Schönes Wochenende in Elend
Außergewöhnlich saubere Unterkunft.
Das Apartment großzügig geschnitten und
sehr gut ausgestattet.
Vernünftige Matratzen (für mich sehr wichtig)
Das Frühstück reichhaltig und appetitlich .
Alles so wie es sein soll.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

"Eli Lenti" ist in allen Bereichen Top!!!
Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!
(sollte ich das lieber nicht schreiben, damit ich beim nächsten Mal überhaupt noch ein freies Apartment bekomme...)

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren
Die Zimmer/ Appartements sind einfach und zweckmäßig, geräumig und gepflegt. Es gab zudem eine kleine Küchenzeile.
Außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten können Getränke mittels "Kasse des Vertrauens" erworben werden.
Das Frühstück war super - Tee, Kaffe und dessen Abwandlungen wurden frisch bereitet. Eier ebenso - je nach Vorliebe des Gastes.
WLAN war ebenfalls verfügbar.
Bei An- und Abreise war man sehr flexibel, so konnten wir bspw. unsere PKWs am Abreisetag länger stehen lassen.
Wenn es sich ergibt kommen wir wieder.
