Modern, Clean and Roomy

We spent 3 nights at the Ferienwohnung Junger-Moritz. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. After a week or so living in hotel rooms, it was a pleasure to have a separate bedroom and living room as well as a small dining area and full kitchen.
Our apartment was the one bedroom, street facing, ground-floor unit. We had no issues with street noise. The street isn’t that busy and the outer shutters automatically close each evening and reopen in the morning. The apartment kitchen was well-appointed so we opted to eat in one evening. The Edeka supermarket is just a short walk from the apartment.
All the Erfurt alt stadt attractions and restaurants are within easy walking distance. I even found a great craft beer bar/store, Der Bier Rufer, just down the street!
I had read a couple earlier reviews that mentioned the Wi-Fi wasn’t particularly good, but when we were there (September 2017) I had no issues, even uploading a hundred or so pictures from the day.
Neither Frau nor Herr Görlich speak much English, but don’t let that put you off. They are very friendly and manage very well to get the necessary communication across. All in all I would recommend Ferienwohnung Junger-Moritz if you want to visit the old town attractions in Erfurt. Thee apartments are convenient, clean, well-appointed and close to everything.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Erfurt

Apartment was spacious, beautiful and comfortable. Included was a huge balcony with a view. Right in the heart of Erfurt everything is a short walk away including restaurants, the tram, Domplatz and Anger shopping.
The apartment was fully stocked with a full set of dishes and cooking pots/pans. Included a dishwasher and washing machine. No oven.
Internet, however was pretty much non-existent. I suppose if you're on holiday and only need it for checking email or googling restaurants you might get it to cooperate, but I needed it for work for meetings in the US.
The owners have limited English, but were super friendly and I didn't have a problem with the little communication that was needed.

Ein hervorragendes Apartment

Inmitten der Altstadt Erfurts liegt nur fünf Minuten von der Krämerbrücke und dem Domplatz entfernt ein kleines, feines Domizil. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend wurden wir von der Gastgeberin begrüßt und in unser sehr sauberes und perfekt ausgestattetes Apartment begleitet. Es ist ein hervorragender Startpunkt für alle Unternehmungen in und um die Altstadt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Gute Lage, etwas düster

Mitten in der Altstadt liegt das Apartment, eine gute Ausgangsbasis, um Erfurt zu erkunden. Die Vermieterin hat sich sehr um uns bemüht und auch noch einen Stellplatz für unseren Wagen besorgt, den Parkplätze sind mitten in den engen Altstadtgassen natürlich Mangelware.
Die Unterkunft ist großzügig geschnitten, aufgrund der Bausubstanz jedoch etwas sehr dunkel und kühl. Insgesamt aber ein guter Standort, um Erfurt kennenzulernen.
