Worthwhile, especially for a short visit

Scores points for its central location, about 500 m from the old town, i.e. Krämerbrücke, cathedral and citadel, and good value for money, especially considering the high hotel prices in Erfurt. It is actually an apartment-pension on the premises of a car rental company, hence also a parking space (free of charge, but the gate is locked at night). The pension is certainly not of hotel standard, but is still close and had everything I needed for a trip through and sightseeing in Erfurt. It is also definitely suitable for a young family with a small child. I would not use the breakfast service again, however, despite the low price.

Accomodation fine but lack of attention to detail

The provided accomodation was fine and comfortable and in a perfect location as a tourist as it isn't a long way from the train station and from Anger square with its Rewe supermarket in Anger1 to stock up on beer and other essentials!
We had room 4 and the wifi didn't penetrate the thick walls so was useless unless you stood by the door to the passage. The TV didn't want to change channel and the toaster had a melted body (that should have been replaced long ago) so we didn't use it obviously. So with a bit more attention to detail it would have been better.
Didn't use fitness room, sauna or solarium. They are located in the basement.

Ideal for a stay in Erfurt - solo, couple, family or group

A group of us booked 4 apts in this pension for a recent 2 night trip to Erfurt. All of the rooms were different sizes with different décor & design. Our group were all happy with their apts but I’ll comment only on my own apt.
Easy to find from the train station, no more than 10 minutes walk from it. Following delays with our flight & bus we arrived a little after 20.00 so knew that there might not be anyone available to check us in. However, we rang the number posted on the entrance door & within seconds we were inside & checking in. Cash up front (I think because we arrived after normal checking in hours) which caught me a little by surprise as I had intended to pay by credit card but we were given proper invoice receipts & hey, it had to be paid for anyway. I was allocated apt No. 5 & given the key to the apt & a key to gain access to the building & so, on up the stairs, no lift.
A big, clean, bright non smoking apartment with simple décor, a laminate wood floor, comfortable bed with 2 single mattresses pushed together to make a double, wall mounted tv with a few English language channels, table, 2 chairs, smoke alarm, plenty of electrical sockets, a very large window giving an abundance of natural light but no issues with noise. Temperature was individually & easily controlled by a radiator with trv.
The kitchenette was well equipped with a fridge, sink, 2 ring electric hob, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, cups, plates, cutlery, saucepans etc.
The bathroom was a nice size, clean with a tiled floor & partially tiled walls, large mirror, hairdryer, plenty of towels, shower cubicle, shower head & hose on rail with good pressure & an abundance of hot water, wall vent, towel radiator with trv, no toiletries other than a bottle of liquid soap on the wash hand basin. Oh & yes, a washing machine in the bathroom.
Complimentary Wi-fi was excellent, password protected, very quick connection, fast & reliable.
There was a sauna, fitness room & solarium on site, none of which I used. I believe the sauna & fitness room were free of charge to use with a charge for the solarium. Car hire was also available on site. None of our group had a car but I think that the property offers free of charge, on site parking.
Checking out (at 11.00) was simple being nothing more than handing back my key.
The property is in a great location, as already mentioned, no more than 10 minutes walk to the train station & about the same to the historic old town. There is a bar located across the road from the apts & a number of shops, cafes & a kebab “restaurant” very close by.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt !

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Pension Neuerbe. Herzlicher Empfang und Vorstellung des Hauses mit seinen Einrichtungen. Einzelzimmer im zweiten Stock des Hauses, einfach, mit Duschbad und Flachbildfernseher. Kleiner Fitnessraum im Keller der Pension, mit Sauna und Dusche, kostenfreie Nutzung. Ehrlich gesagt, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut und ich werde sicher bald wieder in diese Pension zurückkehren.
