THEODORS FOR THE 10TH TIME

Once again we had a very good meal at Theodors. The service and the food were really good. The linguine and sea bream tasted first class. The salad was excellent. Great dressing. The wine temperature was just right. The gaspatscho and the cucumber soup were top notch. We'll be happy to come back.

Was not Disappointed at Theodors!

It had been a couple of years since we have been here, when it was call the Schlosshotel. A wonderful and peaceful part of the Berlin "Seeplaten" area.
Welcome and Employees:
Check-in was friendly by the manager of the hotel, who also made our dinner reservations and a table with a lake view. No proof of corona test was required (only hotel not requiring this during our trip).
Room and Facilities: We had the least expensive room (hotel was almost full) with minimal view of the lake, but a balcony. Room was clean and modern with good internet.
Breakfasts
Good breakfast with a decent selection of breakfast items (typical in Germany) and some fresh fruit. The breakfast was served to us as we sat on the lovely terrace and I ordered fried eggs, which were great. Staff in the dining room were also very good and friendly. The dinner was fine, not quite as good as I remember from the last time, but a good selection of Mediterranen dishes.
Summary and Recommendation: A well-managed hotel, wonderful place to relax and explore the area. There is currently no parking for the hotel as a larger apartment complex is being built behind the hotel. We hope that this does not affect the ambience of the hotel and adjacent park. We will be returning!

Lakeside Modern Hotel

Local guesthouses/hotels here tend to be a little 'Country Style' and dated but the hotel Theodors is better than that. A young friendly team, speak other language, serve nice food and drinks. Lakeview Terrace. Clean comfy rooms some with balconies. Direct boat access to lake, overnight mooring available (separate charge). The closest railway station is 5 mins by car 15 mins by bike, 1 hour by foot. The stop Wustrau Radensleben will get you to Berlin central in 1 hour 5 mins.

Boutique Hotel

Small friendly Hotel beautiful location on lake very quiet, excellent gourmet food and wine, intimate restaurant. Good quality buffet breakfast able to eat outside by lake weather permitting. Charming village. Rooms large modern on suite. Free Wi Fi but slow, small flatscreen TV .
None of advertised activities available directly at Hotel but in area staff unable to book for you.
Stick to speed limits if driving.
Expensive. Enjoyed our stay not far from Berlin.
Room 5 balcony hand rail unsafe.

Traumhafte Lage, Service TOP

Auf unserer Bootstour haben wir in Wustrau angelegt und abends im THEODORS gegessen.
Die Freundlichkeit des Personals und des Chefs, sind besonders hervorzuheben.
Das Essen (Shrimps, Kalbskarre, Zander und Lachs) war geschmackvoll und gut.
Die Aussicht auf den Anleger/See und die Ruhe trugen dazu bei, uns einen wunderschöenen Abend zu bereiten.
Wir können das Lokal empfehlen und würden gerne wieder kommen.
