Pretty old hotel with select nice rooms and many guest rooms.

In the beautiful Greifen we had a spacious, nicely furnished room with good beds. We were welcomed very warmly and all our wishes were fulfilled. a good breakfast strengthened us for the return trip after eventful open-air performances the evening before. Gladly again.

You could make more of this hotel. The kitchen needs a total overhaul of the offer.

No doubt, the hotel has a certain charm, but it fades badly in many places. Even small renovations and design options could help to improve the impression. The spa area is small but respectable. Even with 10 guests in this area it gets very tight. We had booked half board. The food was very borderline. Loveless food, all convenience products. Really deficient. The location of the hotel is unique. The staff was nice and attentive, however, it seemed a little overwhelmed. Nevertheless, a thank you to the staff!

Not so Romantik at all

The hotel although being located in a magnificent old building right in the centre of the city is fully outdated and not on an actual standard level.
During diner I served myself from the salad bar. I thought it was a buffet setting, so i took a second plate. This was not appreciated, I was charged twice.
The above leads me to conclude I can not really recommend this hotel.

Beautiful, well-kept, historic building in the middle of the marketplace!

As part of the festival we booked a room here and were quite satisfied. The historic building has a lot of old interior, but very well maintained. Our room was on the marketplace side and therefore at night, with the window open quite restless. In addition, in summer, in sunshine, the curtains should be closed during the day, because it gets very, very warm in the room, because there is no air conditioning. Breakfast was perfect. Everything you need.
Unlike previous reviews, we can't complain about the food. It was perfectly prepared and very delicious.
The location, right on the market square is perfect and not far from the cloisters and the surrounding sights. Thank you again.

Nice romantic old hotel

Very interesting old hotel, decorated in different styles. With a great spa, sauna and pool. Breakfast is good. Very positively, a lot of emphasis is placed on waste prevention. Very centrally located, right on the market square.
