My friends and I were very happy everything was fine.. everything was clean, staff very nice, not expensive.. we had a quiet weekend there.. gladly recommend and gladly come back..

Great experience

We were very pleased I spent a few nights at this hotel and overall it was a pleasant stay. Although the equipment is rather basic and the room could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly, but the friendly staff made up for a lot. The central location was particularly positive – you can easily reach many sights on foot. The price-performance ratio is also fine if you don't have too high expectations. For a short stay or an impromptu trip, the hotel is definitely a solid choice.

Unreasonable disaster

Help! Room very dirty. Bed linen musty. The shower very calcified and moldy.Showers there impossible . Floor and carpet dirty. Very noisy environment, all very noisy. Online pictures of the rooms do not correspond to the truth.

Instead of being called the hotel "am Schloss", it should rather... (I think I prefer not to comment, that would be too evil)

Disaster, no one at the reception, having to wait over half an hour for someone to come.
Room unclean, no parking outside door.
The best, no toilet in the room, only one toilet for the whole floor (igitt).

Would not recommend.

After looking at the "website" for this hotel I was under a great impression that the hotel would be very well equipped and catering for all my needs.
Upon arrival it was a very different story. After speaking to someone on the telephone to inform them that myself and my party would be arriving after the allotted check in time and being informed that there would be someone to greet me when we arrived. Let's just say there wasn't and I had to call the owner of the hotel for him to get someone to let us in.
The facilities were not as described on the website, the place was not very clean and after a previous great experience at a hostel in Berlin we were extremely disheartened by what we saw.
Cut a very long story short, please do not ever consider this place as a possible stop on your holiday to Germany even if you are on a budget.
