Practical, quiet stay with easy U-Bahn access
The Hotel Amadeus Frankfurt was a very practical choice for me, mainly down to the location. It’s right by the U-Bahn stop at Hessen-Center, which makes getting into the city straightforward — around 20–25 minutes in my case, depending on where you’re heading.
The setup around the hotel is genuinely convenient. You’ve got supermarkets within easy walking distance and a small shopping centre nearby, plus very quick access to the A66 — you’re basically on the motorway within a minute, which is ideal at the start or end of a trip.
The hotel itself does exactly what it needs to. My room was perfectly fine: everything worked, and importantly for me — windows that open and a fridge in the room (always a win). It’s also pleasantly quiet, as it’s set back from the main road. You’re in a more functional, commercial area here, so don’t expect lovely views — but that’s not really the point of this hotel.
Staff were very friendly throughout. In the evenings, the bar and lounge area offer food and drinks, which is handy if you don’t feel like heading back out.
Breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and quality. The breakfast room does seem a bit undersized for the size of the hotel — I went early, but walking past around 7:45 it was already very busy, so timing helps.
Parking is another strong point: free and very easy, whether behind the hotel, underneath it, or on the road out front.
All in all, this ticks a lot of boxes for a work stay in the area — especially if you don’t mind a short U-Bahn trip into central Frankfurt.

Gladly again
A very quiet and pleasant stay. Even with a full breakfast room, there was no hustle and bustle. The breakfast buffet is sufficient & varied and the pizzas in the restaurant really delicious. Except for the poor drain in the shower my room was clean & cozy. The staff all very friendly. Still to be mentioned is the good transport links.

No four-star standard – disappointing stay
The hotel is officially listed as a four-star hotel, but in my opinion far from it. Already at the reception I asked for toothpaste and disposable bath slippers – neither was available. In the room even then the next disappointment: It smelled a lot like cigarette smoke, so I had to ventilate for a long time. In addition, the TV had no connection at all, television was not possible. For a supposed four-star hotel I expect significantly more comfort and cleanliness. In addition, the hotel is quite remote. Unfortunately, no recommendation from my side.
