Our stay at Scandic Frankfurt Hafenpark had a lot of strong points, though with one notable drawback for families.
* Warm & Thoughtful Hospitality: The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They were especially generous with providing ice for our water bottles and even happily refilled them with their Brita filtered water, which was a fantastic touch.
* Prime & Connected Location: Getting around Frankfurt was effortless. The hotel is conveniently situated right near train and tram links, with handy local shops just a short walk away for essentials.
* Superb Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was fantastic—high quality, delicious variety, and very family-friendly with plenty of options for everyone.
* Housekeeping Policy to Note: The main issue we ran into was the room cleaning policy. Rooms are only serviced upon explicit request. Traveling as a family of four, we quickly went through our towels and returned at the end of a long day to find the room unserviced, leaving us dealing with accumulated rubbish and used towels.
Overall, it is a modern, comfortable, and well-located hotel, but larger families should be sure to request daily cleaning and fresh towels at reception each morning.

Good hotel as the price/quality was very fair (except parking)
Hotel looks nice, neat reception and kind staff. We had connecting rooms with a double door in between on the 7th floor at the end of the corridor. It was quiet enough that I slept without earplugs. The corner room was bigger, like 1/3 bigger and suitable for handicapped people (bigger bathroom with more handheld bars, had a closet and adjustable twin bed). The smaller room had hangers, but on a rack. The design looked nice and zen, seemed clean, but our bathroom sink had something sticky on it that you couldn't see (colorless), but I always carry wipes, so wiped it off ourselves. Smaller room had a kingbed, it was like 2 bedsprings with a topper on it. There was a small desk cabinet, another a cabinet was the safe and the third was the mini fridge, like really mini, so you can only put a couple sleek bottles inside. It was OK for us, as we had booked breakfast at the restaurant. Aircon worked well, but soundproofing is mainly for the streets, as I could hear people talking in the corridor and housekeeping in the mornings and when it's really quiet you can hear the trains at night, but that didn't bother us. Also can hear the bathroom fan and there are no darkening curtains, but the room was half dark as the window is a small sized one, like a door, so the sunlight wasn't too bad in the morning as we were facing west. Water pressure and temp was like the other reviewers say, it can jump from cool to hot water, so not stable, but didn't hear the teenagers complaining. You need to ask for housekeeping via the app, we asked for it at reception during check-in, but it was forgotten one day. We had clean towels, but they didn't change sheets during the 4 nights we were there. The parking is really expensive (€30 per day/night), as most of big cities in Germany are, but not his expensive and would expect hotel to give guests a discount as they only choose this because it's under the hotel, like we did use it as the streets were full and there was some construction going on next to the hotel. The parking garage seemed worth it in that case, seemed safe, also because it was cooler during the heatwave and the garage had plenty of space, was clean and the spots were wide enough for our SUV. The hotel is close to the station though, restaurants and supermarkets also. The breakfast was nice as it had vegan and gluten-free options & the kids like the waffle station. The amount of choice is more during weekends than weekdays, mostly everyday basics were the same, but we were satisfied with the choices. I would stay here again in the future.

A good hotel
Clean and well-managed hotel with large rooms and a spacious bathroom. Convenient for reaching the center with the subway stop nearby. Quiet residential area.

The room was fantastic, and the bed was amazing. The duvet and pillows were honestly some of the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. We slept very well, and the staff member who welcomed us at the hotel was extremely friendly.
However, I booked the hotel while I was sitting on the plane, already buckled up and waiting for take-off. Unfortunately, the aircraft had a technical problem, and we had to return to the airport. I contacted the hotel immediately and kindly asked if it would be possible to cancel the booking, as I had made and paid for it less than 30 minutes earlier and we had no idea whether we would be able to get another flight.
Unfortunately, after speaking with the Front Office Shift Leader, nothing could be done for us. Instead, he simply checked us in while my family and I were still stranded at the airport. I found this very disappointing. I completely understand that hotels have cancellation policies, but when unexpected circumstances like this happen so soon after making a booking, I would have appreciated a little more understanding and flexibility.

Great family hotel
Great located hotel with great family atmosphere and friendlyness. We stayed in a familysuite with a double room connected by a connecting door.
