Very nice to hotel

Very nice hotel with showers, toilet in the room in good working order. Restaurant in the hotel selling good beer. Breakfasts with sort of English breakfast very nice. The host was very kind and welcoming. Would come back again.

Bad experience

Terrible value for money. High cost, very small room (practically a cubicle) and apparently not clean, smelly sheets and pillows, insects everywhere, breakfast with little choice and expired eggs. To forget

Worse than worse

The worst treatment ever received.
I went to this hotel with 2 friends, a very small room without even space to walk, they didn't clean it even once in 2 days, the phone didn't even work. The blankets and pillows probably not washed, they smelled of sweat. Breakfast was paid a disgrace, to find little or nothing to eat, expired eggs, and cockroaches on the floor and on the table. Stay away from us.

Very Friendly and helpful Staff

We, as a Family (3 people) stayed there for one night and had our dinner in the restaurant... The room was so stuffy but the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. But the best was our dinner; our home made meals (pasta, soup, etc.) were really great... thank you

Friendly hotel on the outskirts of Freiburg

I stayed here for one night during a Black Forest road trip. The hotel is easy to find and has good parking. The staff were very friendly! We had limited German but we were still made to feel very welcome particularly by the hostess Monica! We had dinner there too and the food was great - massive portions! The rooms are fairly basic but do the job. Recommend it for a Black Forest stopover!
