Helpful staff. Large room. The tram was a short walk away for the trip into the city centre.

Expectations were exceeded during our 4 night stay. Staff were friendly and professional at breakfast and dinner. Room (114) was very spacious although windows/balcony face the main road and without a/c in the room, it was occasionally noisy at night. Shower was powerful and shower-room was spacious. Dinner offered a wide range of tasty and we-cooked food with good wine selection. Breakfast choices were typical and copious quantities available.

Everything was great. We purchased breakfast and it was very good. We walked to dining ootions since their restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.. Staff was friendly too.

Very nice hosts and perfect accommodation for cyclists and hikers

A great hotel on the outskirts of Freiburg!
I had a comfort single room with balcony which was really spacious and very well equipped. The room was attractively decorated and had ample storage space and storage areas. In the bathroom an extra shelf or further hooks would have been quite nice. A small downer was the mattress, on which I unfortunately did not sleep particularly well.
The hotel is very nice and lovingly decorated. It is very well maintained and clean, and also the outdoor area is nicely maintained.
Very convincing I also found the breakfast with a very good selection, lots of fresh fruit and also vegetarian/vegan dishes. I also ate three times in the evening at the restaurant and also very enthusiastic. The dishes are a bit more expensive, but also of very good quality. Great is also the excellent wine list.
Other plus points for me were definitely the large, free parking and the locked bicycle garage with tools and charging possibility for e-bikes.
But the Bierhäusle scored the most points with its friendly and dedicated staff - always nice and very accommodating. Especially as a solo traveler, you really appreciate it.

Bad hotel!

Bad hotel night ever.
Don't stay here!
On the way to Italy we hoped to make a good night.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
In the middle of the night, the hotel phone went off. Then noise from loud people outside.
To make matters worse, my daughter threw up after breakfast. The watermelon probably wasn't good.
So staying is not recommended!!!!
