This place is great, not very expensive, and just outside of Garmish
We stayed here for 3 nights, very clean, pretty, and a nice breakfast. I highly recommend this place, because it is very close to Garmish without the high prices. Clara is a very nice host, who will try and accommodate you in every way.

Unnecessary annoyance
ATTENTION: In some cases, a junk room with a bathroom separate from the room is rented out at full price.
In July 23, I reserved a double room (1, 2 or 4 according to their website) directly via the provider's website for 126 euros per night including breakfast and immediately paid a 30 euro deposit. Then, one day later, I asked in writing to move the reservation back a day and, as there was no response, I also called the owner and said "that was no problem", she would change it and note it. At that time, double rooms were still bookable on the website for the desired night.
When we arrived at the end of September 23: The owner was sitting at the reception, visibly annoyed, looking through 100 pieces of paper from her bill and had to check whether there was anything left... (great). We were then given the key to the "room" in question, which we followed the owner into. Shortly afterwards, we asked her that it was not the room we had booked and whether something could be done about the price at least. The room that was given to us doesn't even exist on the homepage (patched carpet, wobbly table, ancient bed, old cupboard, bathroom diagonally opposite the hallway with through traffic).
After some back and forth, she pointed out to us that we could stay somewhere else (!). That's never happened to us before and it's hard to top the audacity. She says she doesn't like giving the room away either, but for her it's the same effort with the cleaning and that's why she rents it out at full price and we can try a guest house in the next town.
Ultimately, we decided against staying there and her "recommendation" and she transferred the 30 euro deposit back directly and took a photo of the transfer (?).
After leaving this farm, we booked a nice room in Garmisch-Partenkirchen directly through a booking portal for a similar price, which turned out to be not only an upgrade but also the best decision.
Conclusion: You could have saved yourself the hassle and effort, it would have been better to cancel directly and go somewhere else, the choice in the region is huge and for a similar price you can also find something nicer, e.g. in GAP

Disappointing, not again.
Unfortunately, reality does not match the pictures on the internet. The rooms are worn out, the bed squeaks loudly with every movement and the mattress is extremely soft.
The kitchen is very dark without a window, so that the uncomfortable light had to be turned on at breakfast.
Unfortunately, there is no alternative option of a table or something similar on the balcony.
The cutlery and crockery is more than poor.
There was a dead fly in a glass, there were old coffee stains from the previous tenants on the worktop, and there was a dead insect behind the door in the bathroom.
The WiFi only reaches as far as the kitchen, and because it was so dark and uncomfortable, we used up all of our data in our bedrooms.
The garden was inaccessible due to an electric fence, and the advertised children's toys were not there.
The owners were never actually around, and we hoped in vain for helpful tips on things to do.
The entrance area was very messy, and the Christmas decorations were still up in the summer.

Review Doppelzimmer am Brandnerhof
This was a nice place to stay. The room is a good size, the bed is comfy, and the patio is nice. I'm giving this an average review because it seemed very impersonal. We booked thru AirBNB so maybe it's not the usual place to book, but the host had no idea we were coming. When we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes in our car because the host wouldn't even let us inside to wait while her daughter arrived from in town with a key. However, it was clean and within driving distance to the town. However, definitely confirm your visit prior to arriving!

Perfect Weekend Getaway at Gästehaus Brandnerhof
My husband and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway surrounded by nature, and the Gästehaus Brandnerhof was the perfect place to stay. Situated just a few minutes drive from plenty of hiking trails, restaurants and shopping, the B&B is a charming place nestled by the foot of the mountains. Our room was clean and cozy, hot showers with good water pressure. Ours had a little table and bench, perfect for reading or playing card games. We also had a balcony facing the mountain; we sat out there in the afternoon sun to read and relax. Breakfast included rolls, yogurt, cheese, hams and egg and served in a really cute, sunny corner room downstairs. The hosts were lovely and we are already looking forward to coming back someday!
