Lovely hotel with a fantastic kitchen, in a nice little town. The ice cream cafe across the road is a bonus. We stop here on our way to/from Scandinavia, fourth time this year.

The room and en-suite were spacious, clean and well maintained. The welcome was warm and friendly. The staff were lovely and helpful.
We were very impressed in the restaurant. Two years ago, I had emergency surgery, which means I cannot eat much. We asked if we could order one meal, but have 2 plates, so I could take what I could manage. This is a regular thing for us and most places will do it. At this hotel, they split the meal into the two plates and presented them normally. It was so kind and thoughtful. I still had to pass half of it to my husband, but the extra effort was very much appreciated. Ten out of ten for going that extra mile.

Super nice hotel

We booked the hotel for a golf and hiking holiday. When we arrived at the hotel in the evening after a round of golf, we were warmly welcomed and received a direct upgrade in the annex.
The room was very lovingly decorated, had a bathtub-shower combination with a separate toilet. The room is clearly different from rooms in other hotels.
The positive impression also continued at breakfast and in the breakfast room. Food rich with eggs that are not made of stone. Extra point for the room furnishings.
We ate 2 x In the restaurant and were more than positively surprised. The food was super delicious with fresh, local ingredients. Just go there and try it out.
The friendliness continued here too including nice chat with the cook.
Keep it up, please. We will definitely be back next year

Weekend in Garrel

We felt completely comfortable, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and our room was very spacious.
Breakfast is also very good and has everything you need.
There is also an in-house restaurant, which we did not visit however as we were guests at a wedding.

The third time we have stayed here on our way to or from Norway. Great hotel in a lovely village, with off street parking.
