Better to finish than

than carry on. The house is simply run down. Complete renovation necessary. Old, primitive, worn and partly dirty. Conclusion: If you have any expectations of yourself, you can't stay there. A little further away, in Simmern, there are good alternatives - a little more expensive, but nice.

4 Night Stay

The rooms are dark, dated and uncomfortable. The bed and pillows provided no support whatsoever. There was no fire alarm within our room, which was not reassuring considering the ceiling, walls and furniture were all wooden. However, the terrace and location was lovely. All in all, I did not get a good vibe from this hotel and was very relieved when we checked out.

Typical friendly German guesthouse

Don't expect a fancy trendy hotel. It is a German guesthouse. With a good kitchen (big plates with alot of meat), friendly service and in the middle of nature. With good oppertunities for hiking, cycling and other activities.

Great stay

Friendly, helpfull, tidy. One minor point: breakfast starts at 8.30, which is late if one wants to make a daytrip further away. Plenty of parkingspace.
