Perfect place to stay in this winter wonderland

We spent Christmas in Gengenbach and it really was like something out of a fairy tale.
Despite what some travel forums had said, there is plenty to do and even on Christmas Day, there are cafes and restaurants open.
Our apartment was huge, modern and extremely comfortable. The location couldn’t have been more perfect and the private car park was an added bonus.
We were welcomed warmly with fresh bread and goodies. We felt right at home straight away and loved every moment of our time here.
It is barely a minutes walk to the town centre and this was perfect to visit the Christmas markets and view the giant Advent Calendar.
Our apartment here really felt like our home away from home and they couldn’t have been more accommodating with our questions in the lead up, including recommendations for Christmas Eve dinner.
We just loved it here!

A fantastic hidden gem in Gengenbach.

This is an excellent place to stay in the centre of Gengenbach, especially if you are travelling by car. The host is very welcoming and provide some delicious local produce for us to enjoy on arrival. Everywhere within the town is easily walkable to from this location and the train station is quite nearby too.
The apartment itself was well appointed (we had the ground floor) with loads of space a good size lounge/diner, plenty of storage for clothes and good quality appliances in the kitchen. It was very warm when we went and a fan would have been welcome.
Last year payment was by cash only.

Comfortable new apartment 1 block off the main square in old town

Perfect location 5 minutes from the train station in picturesque old town. Lovely new/modern style spotless apartment. Comfortable bed and sound proof windows. No A/C, which was not a problem for us….a fan was provided. Washer and dryer is available on the first floor. Coffee, artisan bread, butter and jam, along with complimentary bottled water were a nice touch. Nothing was too much for our accommodating hostess who provided us umbrellas when it began to rain! We very much enjoyed our stay.

AMAZING!!!

If you need to stay in Gengenbach, this is the place. Huge apartments, super CLEAN! amazing HOST!!!
Right in the middle of town to everything. Sure, you will notice the church bells the first day with windows open if you are not used to that , but by day 2 , it is part of the decor!
Parking right there also. Dishwasher, fridge, all kitchen supplies. A home away from home. Brand new renos. We will return!!
