Very good hotel in the hart of Goslar.

Very nice hotel in the hart of Goslar alt stadt. Near to everything - rathaus keizer palats and many shops café and restaurangs.
Free parking ! Good breakfast and very fräsch and clean rooms. Dont miss when visiting Goslar. There is a train going around the alt stadt from rathaus

Nice hotel with good location

The hotel is really nice and close to Goslar town. You are at the center of the city in approximately 5 min. from the hotel.
The rooms may not be very modern, but there is really plenty of space and we had armchairs and tables in both the rooms we stayed in. The rooms were cleaned every day.
We think the hotel is very good value for money.

Nostalgic and clean B&B

This Bnb is very centrally located in historic gosslar. We had a double room #6 and this was a good size room with a sitting group in adittion to beds .
The bnb is sort of old fashined in its decor, like it came out of a late 70's film, but is well kept and very clean.
They have a nice roof terrasse on top of the breakfast room with a nice view of the park and the Kaiserstuhl.
The breakfast room is nice and light and offers a fair breakfast buffet.

Clean and ok, if you don't expect high standard

We have visited this small gasthaus in the Easter holidays. If you don't expect high standard, it's a good place to stay, very central placed, just next to the historical center of Goslar. Being so close to the center means, that we could in our room hear the traffic outside, so ask for a room away from the street.
I don't know, how the other rooms are, but we got a room with a very scratch, used leather sofa and used furniture - that was not nice. (The beds were though nice to sleep in). Maybe we got this room due to the fact, that we had a small dog with us? A bit dissapointing, since our dog is never aloud on the furniture or the bed. The very small bathroom with a shower had no heating, so it was cold.
The breakfast room downstairs was fine and clean. There was not much to choose from, just the basics like bread, cheese, salami, yoghurt, honey, cereal, milk... I missed some fruit, and variation, since we stayed for 4 days.
The free wi-fi was unstable in the room.
The owner is very polite.
Well, shortly said - clean, used and no luxury - but ok for a few days.

Perfect Location

Gästehaus Verhoeven is perfectly located to visit the beautiful town of Goslar: all the places to see are within easy walking distance. It has private car parking, very spacious rooms and a terrace overlooking the magnificient Pfalz..The host is friendly and helpful.
