A wonderful getaway in the Harz
Many possibilities for excursions within a short time.
Driveway should be signposted on both sides.

Massively disappointed

I can only strongly advise against staying at this hotel. My attempt to end the stay early due to the poor condition of the house became a farce.
Service & reception:
Instead of responding professionally to my complaint, I was repeatedly put off for over a day. I was assured the head office would get in touch – in the end, the cancellation was simply rejected. There was no trace of goodwill or service orientation.
Rooms & condition:
The condition of the hotel is miserable in many areas. I have attached pictures that speak for themselves. (Upload the photos here).
Gastronomy & Extras booked:
Dinner: For a high price I was served low quality TC food that is disproportionate to the pricing.
Fruit basket: An expensively paid extra was simply ignored. Despite several indications, the missing fruit basket was neither submitted nor was the complaint addressed.
Conclusion:
This is an attempt to cash in with overpriced extras without providing the corresponding consideration. No insight whatsoever, no accommodation. Once and never again!

The enthusiasm for the food was limited; among other things, there was a dish with the lovely name "Steak au Four" instead of the food from the menu.
Unfortunately, only the fries were good; otherwise, it was tough neck meat under a lot of cheese.

Nice short break
Had 4 days with half board plus. Food early and in the evening very abundant and in principle good. Was also refilled again and again. Great for a three-star hotel.

03/2024 relaxing vacation
This is the fourth time we have stayed in this great hotel for 6 days.
That says that we feel very comfortable here.
The rooms are very nicely decorated, tidy and clean.
The hotel has a good location. It is very pleasant and quiet here.
You can enjoy nature well. GREAT service, nice and helpful.
The breakfast and dinner were always great, everything fresh and plentiful.
Highly recommended hotel where no wishes remain unfulfilled.
