Ageing hotel with history

A little outdated hotel especially in the rooms, but as far as clean. Very nice and helpful staff.
Breakfast for 5€ good,
Otherwise great house with interesting history!

No repetition

My brother was in the, from the outside appealing, hotel and would not repeat a visit. No restaurant, very “lean” breakfast (even with half, cheap sausage slices) and partly “rundown Mood” of the rooms: Martial windows and doors, old TV still with decoder, old-fashioned furnishings etc. - see photos. A mystery is the qualification for 4 stars!

It's not the net, what's on the price list of minibar, which doesn't work, is not present. No attention to detail,

Arriving today, had booked room with balcony, room we got had no balcony, got another room, balcony was hidden behind the wall cupboard. Now cold beer from the minibar, too bad minibar doesn't work.
On the site beautiful stories about restaurant, this is not open, well we had known this beforehand we had not gone here. Furnishings are of everything that, totally mismatched, faded glory.

The stay was OK, except the internet on our floor was not working (acknowledged by the reception, but not fixed).
The big complaint is that, despite emails sent, the hotel never reported the stay to Hotels.com, and hence we have still not received our bonus stamps for the two nights.
Since this was not reported even after a reminder email, I conclude that the behavior is intentional, so if you are collecting rewards you should AVOID THIS HOTEL!
