Great Location
The hotel is steps from pedestrian street and minutes from old town square where there is a market everyday. There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by. The room is spacious, airy, clean, comfortable and includes all necessary amenities. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was served in a bright pleasant room and was very nice and plentiful. One of the best independently owned hotels we've stayed in our travels. Make for a very nice visit to Halle.

Aging hotel on the edge of the old town
I stayed here with colleagues. The hotel is centrally located on the edge of the old town; nevertheless, the room was always pleasantly quiet, even with the window open.
The building looks old overall, the ambience is quite gloomy and very sober. The laminate flooring in the hallway gives way when you walk, the bathroom in my room was very small and poorly lit. The WiFi kept cutting out. My mattress was too soft for me personally, but that's a matter of taste. The sofa in the next room was extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast room was not very comfortable, the staff seemed unwelcoming.
All in all, the stay was fine, but the price is too high for what is offered. But I will probably stay somewhere else next time I stay in Halle.

Cozy hotel
It's near Leipziger Turm, so it's within walking distance of the station. From there, it's also close to the center of town. Above all, the staff were very kind. The hotel faces the street, but it's very quiet. The breakfast was also very satisfying. The room was spacious and there was a small refrigerator (used to store medicine). There was also an air purifier. However, the hotel entrance door required some ingenuity to open. Also, the hotel staff is not available on weekends after 6pm. Recommended. I would like to use it again.

Location & Budget with some compromises
We were visiting friends during the Handel festival and wanted to be close to the old town and also the train station. The location was excellent and it was easy to meet friends and to walk to everything. We had accepted the last room, a 3 bedroom suite, at a ridiculously low price. Breakfast here was good and the staff members were pleasant and accommodating. The woman who supervised breakfast, knew I was a coffee lover and had my coffee pot and milk to me in a jiffy after the first day. We did not try the restaurant when it was open for lunch or on some days, dinner, but local people as well as tourists patronized it.
The hotel is a bit rundown and it is old, but not charming. From a peek into other rooms, they were Euro style rooms slightly more updated than ours, but with similar very small bathrooms. Our "suite" did have 3 bedrooms but only one closet in the entryway and one very tiny bath with shower. The entrances to room, bath and bedrooms included at least three uneven areas that we continually tripped over and found a bit dangerous. We made do. If you are on a budget and need to house a lot of people our suite might work for you as it was inexpensive...but
there is no air conditioning at the hotel, no minibar, no room service, no phones in room and the lobby hours are very limited. There is free internet but ours only worked in certain areas of the "apartment." The materials placed in the room and the notices put up when the lobby is closed are in German.

Great value for money
This place is centrally located, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good.
Normally you have to pay quite a lot of money for such a hotel. But not here! 95 euro for three adults. You really can't find better value for money. Thumbs up and thanks for a great stat at Halle.
