Dream hotel

It was wonderfully beautiful, the area along with the hotel. One can truly enjoy a romantic time here, top service, friendly, and the best part: everything is spotless clean. We will definitely come back again!

It is what it is

Exo hotel Franka Bamberg is a hotel that does not do more than it promises: A good night's sleep and a good breakfast close to Bamberg. The hotel is located about 4 km outside Bamberg itself in a suburb (Halstadt) where, to be honest, nothing is happening. There are few restaurants (where Fäsla Stube is clearly preferable) but the hotel makes up for it with really good service and a cozy atmosphere. However, the rooms lack proper air conditioning, at least room 204 did, as there was only a fan, which didn't do much so we were happy to be able to have the windows open.
There is no free parking at the hotel, it costs 9€ per day and there is, as it says, no daily cleaning but only emptying of trash cans etc. There is no refrigerator or in-house coffee in the room, but that is acceptable .
All in all, an OK hotel that does what it needs to do and nothing more

A quiet, clean hotel with friendly service and a very extensive breakfast option.

The double room was clean, adequately furnished, and of sufficient size. On very hot days, one would wish for air conditioning. The attentive staff was friendly, and the breakfast was extensive with fresh fruit and various sides.
